(OP) User ID: 25159884 United States 05/10/2014 08:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | all my fruit trees are in full bloom and so are my shrubs - I picked a big boquet of lilacs cause they'll be dead by tomorrow ... what worries me the most is my elm trees, one of them was killed last year ... they are just barely turning green - this could "nip them all in the bud" --- bad timing ... but we need the moisture so bad, I'm not going to complain ... if we do get more than six inches it will be the biggest storm all year ... its 58 today --- and going to be 58 on Monday - with a frack'n BLIZZARD in between. |

(OP) User ID: 25159884 United States 05/10/2014 08:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just took the tarp off of the Patio furniture on Tuesday, it was so hot (80) I gave my Horse a bath ... all my critters have lost their winter coats ... turkey is setting on eggs and I got chicks that will need a heat lamp on ... good thing nothing is in the garden yet but the rubarb - it will make it. The seedlings in the green house will be OK ... yes, the tomato plants are IN |

Quoting: SunnyDaze Just got back from mom's. Cut a huge arrangement of lilacs and irises for her Mother's Day flowers that she came home to. She already called to say she loves it :) They could all be gone tomorrow. It might not be that bad and might not get that cold or it could kill buds and blossoms and be bringing down tree limbs all over the Front Range again... |

Quoting: SunnyDaze Weird. Te Temperature extremes this Winter all over the place are just breathtaking. There were many instances of it being 70 degrees and then falling to 30 degrees in just a few hours. Bizzare and getting more Bizzare not by the year but MONTHLY. |
