They might stick with it for a year or two then putter out when their personal lives collapse for one reason or another, which is inevitable with idiots like that. Quoting: Bob's Gifts & Cologne Anybody who pays to go to a "gym" to workout is an idiot. What a miserable, boring place. Go outside, work with your hands, play a sport. Yeah. That was kind of my take as far as it being for the trendies. I enjoy living healthy and a lot of the blogs that I read are referencing it, so I was just wondering. Mackenzie River bound |

From what I understand, you lift "heavy" things, sprint, and just really push yourself. No fancy machines. A lot of body weight resistance. Squares, dead lifts, etc. but. I really don't know much about it. Mackenzie River bound |

The thing that pisses me off about Crossfit is that they don't harp on form. You should not be putting any weight on the bar for a power lift when your form is not perfect. There might be a few gyms that do harp on form, but from what i've mostly seem they just want to cash another check. |

I want to say a guy even broke his back during the crossfit championship. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55645854 You typed this post with one hand while using your Shake Weight with the other, right? :sarcasm1: I tried one of those but it knocked my teeth out. |

Fit? Yes. Toned? Yes. Muscles protruding like a skinny gay body builder? No. Although the bolt ons do make them kind of feminine, I guess.
