What is really happening other than another "hearing" dog and pony show to make it look like something is being done. Jay Carney gave a presser earlier where the press licked his ass, laughed at his jokes, didn't dispute his arrogant, condescending "explanations" and denials. He painted the whole thing - numerous times - a simply a witch hunt waged by Fox news and GOP and "conspiracy theorists" and the press sat there and lapped it up and disseminated it to MSM channels for the sheep to consume.

Does not matter. The call for help comes. You go. When human life is in jeopardy, legal jurisdiction does not matter.

It doesn't even matter if a specific stand down order was given or not. And maybe some military guys here can elaborate on this.

WHY THE TEAMS THAT WERE READY DIDN'T GO....
Col. Gibson, who had a team ready to go, received a phone call from SOCAFRICA. He was told "you can't go now, you don't have the authority to go now."


WHY DIDN'T HE HAVE THE AUTHORITY?......
There is a law that grants POTUS the power to issue, what is known as “cross-border authority.”

The only person, in the US, who has the power to grant "cross border authority" is the President of the United States.

Not even the the Vice-President has that power. One person does and that is POTUS.


WHAT IS "CROSS BORDER AUTHORITY"?....
If there are no US military troops already stationed in a country,the US military is not allowed to cross over that country's borders without a CBA order, issued from POTUS.

Even an emergency rescue mission, by the US military, could be considered an act of war, without specific approval from that country.

So, if for some reason the US is unable to attain that approval, the President must authorize the military to cross that country's border, with a CBA order.

It was basically put in to place to prevent some accident, or some over-zealous, military middle management, from starting a war.


IF A TEAM WAS READY, WHY DIDN'T POTUS issue a CBA order?....
Some say he was sleeping, others say he was drugged out of his mind, and was unable to function. Who knows?

But, whatever the reason, if a president refuses to grant, or withholds "cross border authority", for a rescue mission, the military has to stand down. They cannot decide, on their own, to do it anyway.

Not issuing that order, was nothing more than a stand down order, that HAD to come from one person only...Obama.

So, did Obama refuse to issue a CBA order, knowing people were being killed? They had camera equipped drones there, so they knew exactly what was happening.

CIA or not, it doesn't matter. A US ambassador was being raped and murdered. The WH knew that. A US embassy was under attack. US citizens were under attack, in a US embassy. That can easily be considered an act of war.

Or, was Obama unable to issue an order, because he was menatally incapacitated?

Which was it? Did Obama deliberately choose to allow Americans to be slaughtered, in a foreign country, when he had the power to stop it? And then made a deliberate decision to cover it all up?

Or, was he under the influence of something, that rendered him useless, and unable to perform the duties, that he is paid to do, during a time when the president was the only answer? And then made the decision to cover that up?

The fact that SOCAFRICA informed Col. Gibson, that he didn't have the authority to go, directly implicates Obama.

He is either complicit in the murder of those people, in Benghazi, or is unable to mentally, handle his job, which makes him very dangerous.

Either way, he should be impeached and kicked out of office.
