The problem is how we view laws. Laws aren't meant to tell us how to live, but rather be warnings to us that there will be consequences should we act a certain way. In this light, laws should only be created by consent of individuals who agree to protect each other in case of danger. Anarchy will never work because then you're ripe for invasion from an outside force. You need a government that exists solely to protect individuals from others, and only in cases where those individuals are forced to do things beyond their consent. That way, you can do whatever you want, and if you are a dignified person who respects others, you will never conflict with the law.

The fact that a responsible, caring, independent person can be punished for doing nothing against others is one of the greatest crimes against humanity.

People are afraid of being ostracized from society. They are afraid of humiliation. They are afraid of rejection. They are afraid of losing their ability to earn a living amongst other people. We don't need a violent agency to make these social consequences a reality. They're already in place. The agency perverts this process. It hijacks it and uses it for its own purpose.

Our laws should be limited to specific claims against specific people. Claims of restitution and compensation. Retributive and correctional punishment is beyond the scope of the authority that can be ascribed to a court of common law. This is not to say that there isn't a type of justice that exists outside of common law. It is to say that we cannot grant such powers to officers of the court. This kind of power corrupts. This kind of justice wasn't meant to be removed from the victims of the injustice anyhow. It can only be evaluated and judged after the fact. The community is a far more superior judge than bureaucracy could ever be.
