Bright Flash Recorded As Chealybinsk Sized Meteorite Is Witnessed Over Kola Penninsula!

According to this news article [link to lenta.ru] from Lenta.ru a very bright flash was recorded by many people across Russia's Northen Penninsula of Kola. The event is described to have Chelyabinsk sized side effects.

Citizens of large cities such as Murmansk, Apatity and Severomorsk all witnessed the bright flash, described as a large explosion. According to EMERCOM the meteorite's nature has not been estabilished yet. What do you all think about this? Our country sure seems to have a sky events uptick recently. Perhaps we are entering a denser part of space?
