I'm taking a girl to Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) for a first date. Any suggestions for hotels, resorts?

Go to Hotel Bavaro...its the best hotel with a nice private beach.

The worst hotel there is IFA Villas Bavaro..Don't go there because the hotel will dry out the vagina of your dominican girl

If you go out of your hotel people are going to come up to you and try and tag along, be your "guide".

It helps to have some street smarts.
Be polite, yet firm and tell them no.
They are going to want money for being your guide, or they will try to join you for dinner.

I'm actually in a similar situation with a friend I met online who I've been talking to almost every day for the last 2 years. We plan on meeting in Portland for a few weeks over the summer.

We've already determined that we like everything about each other, we just need to meet in person and get to know each other that way.

I like the Riu Properties in Punta Cana. Riu Bamboo has the best beach in Punta Cana; nice, simple but older and quaint accommodations. The new Riu Palaces are magnificent and on either side of the Bamboo. They are 5 - 6 star properties and it is 2 minutes to the Bamboo beach front. Enjoy.
