April snow in Alabama

Still a bit of snow in spots here.I have pear trees and the limbs were sagging a lot.This was one heavy snow.I am very glad it didn't snow a lot because everything with leaves would have broke.It packed together like a rock.The steps probably had half an inch and I couldn't sweep it off because it was packed so tightly and very heavy.Now saying we will hit the low 20s tonight and maybe even teens in places.So anything thats growing that isn't protected will be history.

Yep, I live just above the Al/TN stateliness and I could not believe it this morning. Really big flakes ! I think Ari Sasalari was a little surprised ! Haha.

I never seen them flower twice in a year or flower this late either, maybe they know something we don't.

My magnolia tree usually has flowered by now also and it does not even have any buds yet.

I have iris that has just budded out. I'm worried about the flowers surviving the night! Not open yet, but buds. :( :(

I put a coffee can over some sort of flower thing in my yard. It works for it.

its not too late to cover it with a blanket or something to protect that Iris

got the hanging flowers inside. my heats not working but i have the fireplace haha fireplace in April ugh

I put sheets over them- I have a lot so hopefully at least some will make it. Didn't want to use a blanket because I was afraid it might get too heavy and break the stems. Crossing my fingers!!

Snowing here again, the wet kind, melting as it snows! Good moisture, especially after the storm 2 days ago!
