Idaho Blood Moon
Thanks, GLP.

I was about to turn in, then saw the posts about the lunar eclipse. So outside I went.

First of all, it is warm here, relatively speaking. Warmest Spring in years. Clear, too. Last few lunar eclipses were cloudy.

Outside, watching the moon recede. Not the "blood moons" I remember from LA, where the full moon rose red through the smog, but the first lunar eclipse I've witnessed in years. So quiet. I can hear the drunks hawking and spitting seven blocks away. About ten minutes in, a car turns the corner. Second car I've seen. The first (and those following) all hit the gas as soon as they went by as the police department has a Robocop radar screen parked on the street a few blocks south, and they want to test it. I'm standing in a driveway and...go figure...the SUV signals into it. I move a few steps away and point. The woman in the SUV (yes, this IS Idaho, she doesn't worry about the stranger on the sidewalk because she is likely a CCW) rolls down her window and I tell her: "Lunar eclipse!". "So that's why you're in my driveway!" she replies.

I hung out and watched for a few more minutes. Leaves rustled, cats ran across the street. Now, it is a true blood moon above the warning lights of the high-rise. I will enjoy a few minutes more before slumber takes over, and the workday awaits..

Re: Idaho Blood Moon
Nice, OP.

Washington blood moon.

I observed the Lord's Supper tonight with our church group. We had multiple individuals come in to ask if we had food, as they were destitute and hungry. Most were drunk. We did NOT turn them away. This was a taxing and testing time, but we shared food as well as song and biblical scripture with all who came. This was a solemn feast to the lord but was not without interruption, but we took it in stride ministering as needed. We conducted a foot washing ceremony as well as breaking of bread to symbolize Christ's broken body and we also passed the fruit of the vine representing his blood. (we used grape juice). We did these things just as Christ did on this day eons ago when he instructed his disciples to do so in remembrance of him and as a mark of humility and humanity. On the drive home I noted the bright moon. It had an aura (rainbow like) around it to begin, later, it was exceptionally bright with no aura. As I drove out of the city into the mountains where I live, it shone like a beacon extremely bright. 10 min after getting home the eclipse began. I listened to the creek across the road and gazed at the eclipse through the broken skyline of cedar and pine. My dog excited that I had returned home, danced at my feet. After several forays outdoors to check the progress, I went back in and retired to leisure activity. This was not the first total eclipse I have viewed, nor the most memorable, but, this one coincided with a high holy day and that in itself made it special. Times are changing....and I am looking up as told to do in the end times.

Anyone with a brain can see the earth shattering changes that are rapidly occurring as never before. Google is your friend. God Bless.
