Yes, there are other states that are included in tomorrow's weather situation (such as TX, MS, LA, MS, AL, and IN), however the main bulk of the conditions and states involved are going to be North and East of Texas focusing around the Mississippi and Tennessee River valley. That is why I only mentioned the states above that are in the moderate/elevated risk area.

Dallas to St. Louis on Alert for Dangerous Storms Wednesday

Severe thunderstorms into Wednesday night will threaten 19 million people from Texas and the southern and central Plains to the lower Ohio Valley. The threat on Wednesday includes the potential for a couple of strong tornadoes.

Thursday Tornado Risk Zone Spans 1,000 Miles, Population of 40 Million

With part of a multiple-day severe weather event forecast to continue, close to 40 million people will be at risk for violent and dangerous storms on Thursday from the Gulf Coast to the Ohio Valley.

I hope so. I'll be at the Rangers game again tonight and not looking forward to getting stormed on. In the beginning of the week, it was suppose to hit hard tonight. Hail and high winds.

We're off to a very slow start for tornadoes. Even slower than last year which was the lowest number of tornadoes for the year.

And with that said, I wonder if Mother Nature is going to make up the numbers by giving us a few outbreaks here soon...

After the storm the commodities will be going up (corn, wheat, cattle-whatever agriculture is grown there and destroyed, meaning low supply, commodity price hi)

The news is warning Oklahoma to be ready for tornadoes and very large hail possible this afternoon, evening.

I love spring but I sure could go without the severe storms and twisters.

That storm will bring some snow here to colorado. Its not going to be a big snowstorm though. This spring has been really quiet, the whole year has as well. I remember last year we had roughly 6 feet of snow here from late february through april.

"The cap will be unbreakable across most of north Texas today, including the Metroplex. Temperatures near 100 °F are now required to break through to make heavy storms locally. Yesterday it only took 89 °F, so the cap is getting stronger each day.

Thursday looks to be extremely volatile with the potential of the first significant tornado outbreak of the season for areas east of the Metroplex. Although a strong dryline will sweep into the DFW area in the afternoon, the cap just appears to be too strong to let storms form overhead. But just to the east, where the cap will be weaker, explosive thunderstorm development is likely to occur. Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will be possible with the main outbreak from east Texas into Arkansas.

I was just about to say the exact same thing , I was just looking at tommorows forecast here in st.louis and the storms are expected to pick up and the high temperature is supposed to reach 80 F and it's 40 F right now.

STL Here.. 3 waves of heavy rain, flooded basement (on a hill) and one wave of grape size hail thus far... visibility better than it was 30 minutes ago... but thunder is rumbling in the distance....
