Nearby, it killed 10 out of 19 people seeking treatment. Way beyond the typical death rate from this illness. This is strange. The country’s Ministry of Health confirmed on Wednesday that the 10 died out of 19 patients who were undergoing treatment. Several months ago, cases of the monkeypox were detected in the Bangassou region at the border of DR Congo. |

Now finally there are 7 suspected cases of Yellow Fever. All this in addition to the viruses which we do not yet know about. The place is a breeding ground for viruses of all sorts. Media reporting on these outbreaks is often slow and limited. |

The index case was a hunter who fell ill on 17 Aug [2016] and died in his village without specimens being collected for laboratory testing. Between 4 Sep and 7 Oct [2016], 26 cases have been admitted and of these, 3 have been laboratory confirmed for monkeypox. Epidemiological investigations are currently on-going to evaluate the magnitude of the outbreak. |

Just doesn't make sense for them to be flying people with the less deadly viruses that are common to occur there. It would seem only fit to fly people with diseases that do not have an accepted treatment or are highly deadly. |
