The Russian language has two forms of "You". Formal as if you were addressing someone you don't know, non-family members or someone of importance and informal as if you were addressing someone you know like a family member or friend.

Respect is built into the Russian language in addressing superiors or non-family relationships.

That is why this says the exact same thing in two different forms. Formal and informal.

Basically the same concept as calling an high ranking naval enlisted "Chief" or an officer "Sir".

What did Russia call the parts of Alaska it used to possess? Or more specifically, what is the Russian word for Alaska?

my first thought when this site popped up was russia was gonna invade alaska, but maybe alaska is the keyword to translate the code??

Just working on something. I still think "ALASKA" is a clue for decrypting, so I am toying with different ways... Can be wrong tho.

We've tried Alaska, but that was why I was asking for the Russian equivalent of what that call the territory/state.

That's because people add to google translate all the time. They can contribute a "better" translation but you can have fun with that and enter all sorts of gibberish or jokes. Which someone may be doing.

Its a bit like in germany. familiar people you friendly with are "you" all other are "Sie"
If translate the title into german, I get that difference too

Respectfully, the native Russian speaker in my circle, born and raised there, who also holds a Doctorate degree, disagrees with you. Their translation to English is "You hold the key."

Or the creator absolutely knew what he was doing -- it's not you and me that hold the key. He is addressing the "chief" or ranking officers of Russia, not us. Hence the formality.

Consider the parallel with the original site, the upside down seal, eagle holding a key. That was a reference to US government holding the key.

I don't think the site is referring to a key for us to solve the puzzle.

Perhaps the internet itself is under attack. Save whatever links you have to "exposing truth/lies" as documents onto your computer. I've noticed that a lot of good stuff gets deleted from the internet after a few months or years, could be ramp-ping up.

If this is a textual message, like the binary, there are two things we ought to keep in mind:

1. The message will likely use capital and lower-case letters, and

2. it will likely be signed "(E.S.)"

Therefore, however the code is structured, it will differentiate between capital and lower-case letters. And the (E.S.) signature will be encoded; possibly and hopefully at the end. Could it be possible to isolate "(E.S.)" in the code?


I also guess that the Russian particularities are due to GoogleTranslate usage, and I doubt the message is in/Russian. But that the title, being in Russian, is significant. Additionally, we shouldn't overlook the (location of the) pin in Alaska.

So last night I asked someone to look at the site and this is what they had to say. Not sure if it will help but any hint is better than nothing.

I'm not sure what it is still. There are all sorts of rumors. Some think it's from Ed Snowden. Others think it is a hoax to promote something like a movie. If you Google the string of numbers you will find links to threads where they are trying to solve it.
