well, tell us whats there then. you asked a question after you implied to have some knowledge of the answer

It's a Naval Air Facility. Capable of landing B-52's and also docking aircraft carriers. It is probably the most important US Military asset in the world.

It is not top secret...the only people that don't know about it are people that don't pay attention or haven't had reason to care. Though it has been mentioned so often in the last 20 years of our involvement in the Middle East, I am amazed people are oblivious.

Listen, I wasn't suggesting anyone "Buy" the book - I was very interested in the opening summary and thought it would be of interest to those who did not know where or what Diego Garcia was, least of all that there was a VERY secretive US military base there…which I did NOT know.
