My grandson spent 2.5 months in NICU having been born at 6 months and weighing just 1 pound 14 ounces. He is 20 months old now and has never missed a beat! He was 36 weeks...still in the NICU, as his lungs haven't fully developed. Sometimes he does good, other times he is breathing very rapidly, shallow and without rhythm.
