I assume you are using/referencing the uncannonized texts.......I suspect they were left out because they fill in the gaps so to speak.
I would agree that that is how dinosaurs came to be. But of course many individuals will scoff at that explanation as well. They don’t want the question “ well why aren’t dinosaurs mentioned in the bible” to be answered.

I mean, they found soft tissue within a T-Rex femur, and yet they want us to believe that soft tissue could have survived for 65 million years. A GLP member on here called Kirk also created a thread about Chinese scientists also discovering dinosaur soft tissue. If you also look at the depictions of a 'mythical' creature called the Cockatrice or the Basilisk you will see that it largely resembles a tyrannosaurus rex. I have no doubt that many of the creatures which the ancients referred to as 'dragons' where dinosaurs which survived the flood, but were hunted into extinction.
