You dont even have to go back that far to compare, for example. The average working American in the 1960's could have purchased a brand new vehicle with two months salary .... compared to 12 months salary (for a cheap low end vehicle) and 24-36 months salary (for a higher end vehicle) nowadays. That discrepancy is enormous. |
