N. Idaho: anyone else notice all the 'large response' drills lately?

N. Idaho, NB highway 95.

I noticed no less than 100 emergency vehicles off to the side of the road, across the railroad tracks (blocking them too), on the left side of NB Interstate 95, just north of Coeur D'Alene, yesterday.

there were black swat-like armored vehicles there, as well as police crusiers, ems vans, and firetrucks. my thought was that it was some sort of huge accident, like the train derailed or something.

I would not have thought too much of it, but whe I told my friend, he had seen this same thing 1.5 weeks ago on the way to Spokane airport.

this is a small area, yet there was no mention of any large accident, incident or even ems drills...that is very bizarre.

also, I've seen several military looking helicopters and planes in the area as of late, which is also weird, as there isn't much air traffic where I am located!

I feel this is unusual and believe they are conducting some sort of military exercises or something.

it just doesn't seem right.
