Hmmm interesting...for about a week and about a week and a half before those snowstorms...there were wierd trumpet noises coming from the sky and also what I could ony describe as an acoustic hum (also from the sky) here in rural CT...it would last for a about 10 minutes at a time and be a series of noises...no booms, not that I've heard anway.

Usually goes in this order:

1. Trumpets
2. Booms and roaring
3. Quakes

I wouldn't know man...wouldn't know...come what may, live and let live is how I feel. The pendulum is swinging and time is starting to tell though..

These booms are the rock of the Earth's crust breaking apart. Fault lines do not exist from the beginning of time. They have a beginning. This happens when stress on the rock literally breaks it creating a fault. There is a fault line being created in Oklahoma. I would be very worried. A massive amount of rock could snap in a tear that would travel faster than the speed of sound depending on the makeup of the rock. This tear could be hundreds of miles long. It is possible that a magnitude 9.0 plus earthquake is in the very near future.
