Plenty of jobs here. Places are hiring all over. I can honestly say its not the economy.

I was positive I would get the Taco Bell job. Never doubted it. I was completely shocked to find out they decided not to hire me. Good friend works there and cant believe it either. They need more help than they can find but denied me. It was suppose to be a sure thing.

Failed to mention. I was hired at a Camping World back in April. Worked there one week and was let go due to failing a background check. I have no criminal history.

Run a background check on yourself, to see if someone else identity is crossed with yours, or maybe someone stole your identity.

Probably not related to GLP. However some potential employers may check your Facebook. Rethink your interview Q&A's. Some employers are not even looking at folks who haven't been employed in the last 6 months.
That said, look at a bigger institution for employment. at McD's you are probably competing with 200 others. I would look at a hospital job, anything to get your foot in the door, kitchen, housekeeping, laundry. Within6months, you can transfer into something better in the facility. Two things: 1.Get clean for a drug test, no drugs at least three weeks .
2. Be sincere, don't assume anything and be grateful for the interview and the opportunity....say the words like you mean it.
