I don't know where you are with Jesus Christ, but those verses make it clear what our priority should be and that is believing in Jesus Christ. There is nothing wrong with having physical wealth, provided that a person knows the correct priorities. Who knows when a heart attack will happen? a seizure? a fall down some stairs? We KNOW nothing of such things. We don't even control our next breath. It would be a mistake for anyone to think that they are ready. Sinkholes are in the news a lot now. Earthquakes are happening everywhere now. Extreme weather is happening around the world. It would be a mistake for anyone to think that they are ready. This is definitely the end times, we will shortly be at the crunch point. People may say "Bring it on", but they/we have no idea just how horrific things will get. Our only hope is God's promise that He will bring His people through this. |
