I live in NC and there's every indication to me that the Republicans are just as inept and corrupt as the Democrats.
We are all fucked.

I am pretty Active in writing about issues and here some of my feedback.

I have written (R)McCroy several times about legalization of Hemp and Dangers of Fracking ... crickets no response.

Burr is POSER of a conservative.
He did at least send back a form response even though it had nothing to with the issue I was writing about.
He sent me back a letter congratulating me for my military service when I had written to him about preserving gun rights.

As bad as it bothers me to admit it (D)Kay Hagans people have responded every time. Even though through form they have answered with the correct issue.

(R) Walter Jones is pretty active on FB and you can voice to him through there.

(R)Renee Elmers FB folks deleted a legitimate question I had about legalization of Hemp in NC.

You dumb ass. Once the long-term unemployed stopped getting unemployment, they were removed from being counted among the unemployed. Unemployment rates only count people receding unemployment insurance. The real statistic would be who actually has a job. The GOP counts on stupid people like you to look at graph and have no understanding of what it means. It's like closing the soup kitchen and then claiming the number of hungry people has declined.

The hidden story is any job growth is at the expense of wages. Yeah, the real GOP model, build it and they will come, IE: depress the wages of working people.

I do, and the economy here is shit. I love this state, have lived here my whole life, and I am thinking about moving up to New England where workers have some rights over their destiny.

This state government is the worst I have seen in 30 years.

Since I do live here, I can tell you that many (like myself) have left the workforce. You see many more stay at home moms now, more than 5 years ago. BTW, our taxes are climbing like mad!

Denmark did a study on unemployment benefits that were granted for four years. Denmark learned that the longer the period of unemployment benefits the longer individuals stayed out of work.
