This is a disinformation story perpetrated by the Malignant Psychopath. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47690025 These creatures have a collective Death Wish for the planet. The creatures WANT that water for themselves, they don't care if it's the last drop of water on the entire planet. The creatures have a form of Obsessive Compulsive disorder that leaves them caustically taking, taking, and taking, more, and more, and more for themselves. With ZERO regard for the long term consequences of their behavior. A person MUST study the pathology, and vectors of the Psychopath to understand what is happening in the world? |

I grew up on a farm. I've lived most of my adult life on a ranch. It's not just California. Farmers and large cities are emptying rivers, aquifers, and lakes at an alarming rate. So, it's better to let the farmers take it all and dry up large swaths of land and then nobody can live there? Much of the western portion of the US will be screwed in the decades to come if we don't do something about this issue. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45485322 Yo shill I bet you are against this So the farmers take the water and do what with it? They grow food. So who eats the food? You and your family. Where does the unused water go? Back into the soil, the rivers, the sea. You make it sound like farmers just take that water and throw it away, pipe it into the ocean.... Oh wait! It's the EPA that takes it away from the aquifers and pumps it into the ocean... Maybe you could write to them?? *********** WaterLily *********** " Do I dare Disturb the universe?" -- T. S. The average California home uses 360 gallons of water a day. You have got to be kidding me! 360 gallons a day? In some areas, such as Sacramento, the average per person rate is 261 gallons! No wonder you are running low on water out there. WTH??? The article below shows where the water is being used in California. Now, I think if you start doing the math, you will find that if you took every drop of the 300 billion gallons of water (while killing the environment it feeds), you would only prolong the farming issue by a short while. The issue is conservation and lack of rain. If you don't get rain (a lot of rain) the farmers are going under anyway. All you greedy Californians just don't know how to do without and you don't care what and who you hurt to get what you want, either. You need to be a little less worried about the farming and a little more worried about where your next glass of Kool Aid is coming from. [link to www.sanfranciscobay.sierraclub.org] |
