Please define "farmer" because factory slaughterhouses and meat processing plants seem to get lumped in as farms which IMO they definitely are not. All throughout this dry spell the MSM has been describing it this way too never mentioning the wasteful water practices of the meat and dairy industry. Scaring us into thinking farms haven't enough water without presenting all the facts. Then you hear on tv and radio telling restaurants to hold off on giving glasses of water to their customers. Ridiculous.

Evan, this is not the first time. California has waged war against their farmers for decades now, using the endangered species act as their most formidable weapon.

On the other hand, and I don't mean to kick a guy when he is down... The people's access to water should take a priority over one tiny fish, but for all the beautiful lush green places in California, the San Joaquin Valley is actually a desert. The huge populations in Southern California and major parts of Arizona and Nevada are only made possible by artificially pumping water from other far away places. Eventually the demand just outstrips nature.

Much of that "farmers' water" is being shipped out of our nation, having first been sucked up by food (grain etc.) that is sold outside of our nation for profit.

Plus: are those "farmers" farmers or are they Corporate Society that has legally stolen farmers' land under duress?

We The People often have to give up our water for Corporate Society's inhuman, maga "farms", so that they can make an inhuman, maga profit by shipping our water, via the product they grow, to over seas.
