LOL Sidetrack? Your posts are spot on and keeping this thread on the tracks! Thanks and keep it coming.

I could be said that there is no such thing as bad experience, as it builds character etc.

But talk to me after I've just changed a flat tire in sub-zero temps after walking a few miles in the cold, and I might have a different take on it. LOL.
 Quoting: <Path>

Lol thanks. I hear you on the bad experience thing. It's tough not to just get angry about it sometimes. And since I mention anger, I'll tell about a recent dream experience I had with it.

I've been dealing with some pretty invasive dreams my entire life. I've had sleep paralysis, seen a shadow being beside my bed, the whole nine yards. One time I actually felt as though something was reaching into my chest trying to squeeze the life out of my heart.(I consider that time my own fault though because I was experimenting with hanging a pyramid over my bed while I slept, without really knowing what the fuck I was getting into. Bad idea.) But basically, I'm no stranger to being attacked in my dream states. The "dark ones" have been coming at me for some time now although I have no idea why. I don't get the UFO visits, I get the "demon" visits. Not even religious either so no clue whats the deal.

Anyway, a few nights ago I had a rather vivid dream state of sitting at my computer as if I was surfing GLP(lol). I'm not sure if it was an OBE because I've only had that happen once but it was a bit different than the "texture" of the normal dream world. More lucid and vivid.

I noticed that the dark ones were all around me so I start getting real tense. Mind you having the dark ones around is more a feeling than it is a visual thing. I don't necessarily see them as much as I feel them. But nevertheless, I'm sick and tired of going through this shit, so I start to get really pissed off. I summoned up anger and rage and my entire being swelled like I was getting larger in size. I became so furious and defiant I began to laugh maniacally and the darkness retreated from all around me. I laughed at it as I sensed it's power being humbled in the face of my rage and watched/felt it flee.

I came to full wakefulness almost immediately after the experience. My body vibrating myself fully awake. I felt a tightness in my chest and lay there on my bed for a few moments thinking to myself, "well that was interesting". lol. The tightness in my chest lingered for a bit but I'm not surprised because in the dream the visual was of my heart area swelling the most. My chest blew up like I had taken a huge breath or was pumping it up like a weight lifter.

Anyway, moral of the story, I think anger and rage have a place and no one should ever attempt to fully rid themselves of them. They can be volatile and dangerous when not kept in check but they can also be very powerful and useful when channeled correctly.

Also, I gotta toss this question out there in this thread:

Does anyone know what the Morse Code like sound in the ear is all about?

I've had that happen more than once and although I've heard theories I've never gotten a real concrete answer from someone who seemed convinced they knew the truth of it.

I was going to ask if you were rh neg and I see that you are.
I thought you were. So am I.

There are so many saves and information being given - information that was so exact that it could not be a coincidence.
One recent one: My house was for sale at a time when there were no sales happening. The market was dead. One day I went to the mailbox and a woman also was at the mailbox.
We said hello, chatted a bit and then parted. The information giver in my head said "that is the person who is going to buy your house".

This info took all the worry away about the problem of selling my house.

Needless to say this same woman bought my house.

There were several houses for sale at the time but she bought mine.

Things like this have happened to me all the time. I feel protected.

I am so glad you brought this up. I started getting this a couple of weeks before my 14 year old dog passed away. It was a morse code-like clicking in my left ear. It went away for the longest time after she passed away, but now it is back. It tends to happen a lot when I contemplate "spiritual" matters. From what I have researched it is your angels or spirit guides providing you with information. I truly feel that they prepared me for the most dreaded time of my life, losing my girl. For that I am thankful.

Interesting. I've had it after waking from jarring dream experiences. I asked this question once before on here and someone theorized that it might be bringing dormant DNA online and/or updating currently active DNA. But I've never noticed much of a difference to myself after it happens.

I've heard the spirit communication theory before but if that's the case, I have no idea what the hell they're communicating so it's not a very smart way for them to go about doing it. English would work a lot better than incredibly fast Morse-like code sounds lol.

Without going into detail, the best way I can describe my experiences is this. At first, non direct. Like that was weird but it happened. Could be a coincidence, maybe not. Like, did that really just happen. Totally normal, there's a rational explanation. What's next...

Then one day, in your face, straight to the point, no denying it. It was meant to be very direct w/o question.

I feel however that there is intelligence in this reality that surpasses our own. Those that do not have our best interest in mind and those that do. And yes, I do believe in GOD that supersedes all. I am also not ashamed to say that I am grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Dear Path,

I love you and I'm here to share.

One day I was outside with a friend smoking a cigarette. We were talking the deep talk, too, off and on as we were apt to do, and I was watching a star/light move slowly across the sky. I thought it was probably a plane in the distance, or maybe even a satellite(which I have seen, moving slowly across the sky), so I didn't point it out... but I kept my eye on it when suddenly it stopped(it was positioned directly in front of me/middle of sky) and shot backwards and down at a sharp angle of about 20-30%. I immediately gasped and lurched forward with my hand on my friends arm(alarming her) and exclaimed, "Did you just see that?" To my immediate sorrow my friend did not see it... and I remember feeling very alone(I have always struggled with feeling unbelievable). I am still not sure if it was a shooting star that... when it entered the atmosphere it somehow shot backwards like that.... but if it was, how come it was bright(before it entered the atmosphere) and slow moving for so long?

Years later I would see the biggest "UFO" ever. I was driving to the little convenient store two minutes from my house, at the end of my street I was making a left and looked both ways. Well to my right, I saw a ship in the sky... in the distance. It looked like a little triangle ship. I thought it must be some new military plane. I made the left and went to the store and upon sitting in the parkinglot(pulling out of the store)... I looked up and THERE IT WAS. There it was AGAIN. IT WAS HUGE... the size of my palm, and it was sailing slowly and silently, SILENTLY, above me. I watched it for awhile and kept looking around to see if anyone else was looking at it in their cars. No one seemed to notice it. Then it shot off UP into the sky, it's size quickly diminishing until it was just a spec and then GONE. POOF. JUST GONE. This was early evening and there was still light in the sky so I saw this thing VIVIDLY. It was a triangular shape and silver/gray and had lights and stuff all over it? Can't even describe it. It looked like a real-deal space ship... and what baffled me the most was the silence of it. I took it as some new military air-craft taken for a test run. But whatever it was, it was the most UFO thing I've ever seen. And it kind of frightened me/still frightens me to this day.

Sometime last year my ex-boyfriend and I were sitting outside of my house in the car.... and suddenly HE lurched forward and exclaimed, "Did you just see that?" He pointed at the star in the sky... it was a very unusually bright star, up above and right across from the street from my house. He told me that this thing just shot up from the horizon(not too fast though, like a quick rising) and now was still. We waited to see if it would move. We didn't take our eyes off of it. We even tried driving towards it... for about 25 minutes, with no luck. We looked up which planets might be in the sky during that time and none were visible. That star/light whatever it was stayed up in the sky for about three days... then it disappeared. It just wasn't there anymore. WTF?

Strange happenings for sure.

When I was younger there was a period of time when I would wake up... in the sky. At first I wouldn't mind this, the sky would be breathtaking. But I would realize quickly that I was still rising up into the sky... and I didn't want to go any further, I wanted to turn back to earth, to my home, only I couldn't move. I was very much a lucid dreamer so this paralysis was horrifying to me. Then, as my fear would peak and I literally felt like a heart attack... a bright light would flash and blind me as I entered it. Then I'd wake up with the cold sweats and feeling like I had just been in a battle. Was it a UFO abduction, or was it astral projection, or was it BOTH? I don't know. I also know I'm not alone.

There are other stories too.

The orbs in your picture are the same ones that I have found in some photo's from years ago... an ex-ex boyfriend(lol) and myself, who I'll have to show your photo's to. I still talk to him and that was a very strange night for both of us, and the orbs are freakishly similar/pretty much the same exact. However, we both sensed evil/a feeling of UN-welcome during this time.

I also have a "ghost" story or two if you're interested.

Love,
Louise.

I'm loving you too, Louise!

Excellent stories. You've reminded me of something I saw around dusk one evening while laying on my back looking at the sky. I saw a bright light moving slowly from east to west. As it traversed the sky, smaller lights were coming out of the bright light. One by one they took their places in different parts of the sky in fixed positions. They remained there looking just like stars until I went inside much later.

Dreams of flying or floating used to happen more frequently for me. It's unsettling when you're not in control for sure.

I'm interested in your friend's opinion of the orbs. The more the merrier!

Share your ghost stories please. Goosebumps can be fun too...

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
another interesting thing about last October. I spent a week in a rundown motel by myself where I hardly had to speak to anyone. After a day I felt like I went thru a shift and all of the sudden I felt infinitely ancient. Everything that happened I seemed to already have heard before or knew it was coming.

I felt somehow that I'd been dead a long time, that all humans were just military products that were here to dig tunnels thru the ground when we die and thru the atmospheres while we are alive. I also felt that when we passed away we didn't die but just got changed to a different model unless we graduated out of this place.

I also went thru an experience where invisible entities would come out of the water, and that all electronics were tethers that kept us in our body - which itself was a holding cell.

I also felt like love overcame all of that in the long run.

There are some very interesting stories here and great feedback and encouragement as well

Hi Sinclair!

It just so happens that I JUST came across this book (PDF file) through another user in another thread on GLP. And what I've been reading from you keeps reminding me of what I've read so far in this book.

This book is about being attacked... psychically. And it sounds to me like you're being attacked... psychically. It's been an interesting read so far and here's an excerpt that may relate directly to this clicking/tapping/knocking sound you just described:

"There is a curious phenomenon known to occultists as the astral bell; Sir Arthur Conan Doyle makes use of it in one of his Sherlock Holmes stories. This sound varies from a dear, bell-like note to a faint click. I have often heard it resemble the sound made by striking a cracked wine-glass with a knife-blade. It commonly announces the advent of an entity that is barely able to manifest, and need not necessarily be a herald of evil at all. It may simply be a knock on the door of the physical world to attract the attention of the inhabitants to the presence of one who stands without and would speak with them. If, however, it occurs in the presence of other symptoms of an astral attack, it would give strong evidence in confirmation of the diagnosis."

Here's a link: [link to jacquesricher.com]

It's actually a pretty easy read, has some personal stories/accounts... very well written. I'm digging it but I have not finished it. I thought maybe you'd enjoy it as well if you have not seen this yet.

Louise.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
I'll share an abbreviated version…

I was driving in the middle of nowhere with nothing in sight except trees. The road was flat but not straight, so you could only see a mile or so in front of you when you made a corner. It was late morning, not a cloud in the sky, and no wind at all - mid 70's temp.

I was alone in pickup truck and driving a little too fast. As I came around a corner, I first saw a road that angled away from my road to the left. It kind of resembled a Y, with me coming up from the bottom and my road turning to the right.

As i approached the intersection (I did not have to stop), I noticed a ball of light approaching from my road on the right. It was below the tree line and following my road exactly. When it hit the intersection it made a quick smooth hard right hand turn and traveled away from me, but in my line of sight.

It was yellowish orange and was about the size of a large beach ball. I would guess it was traveling about 40 to 50 MPH, and didn't slow down to make the 270 degree turn. It stayed below the tree line at all times, and remained approximately centered above the middle of the road. I didn't hear a sound, although I was probably about 50 yards away when it made the turn. It departed quickly and I lost sight of it as I made the turn.

I never felt alarmed - it was over before I had a chance to think about it.

It definitely feels like something you could call psychic attacks. Been happening all my life. No explanation as to why. It's weird because although I've had one dream state in particular that reoccurs, I also have varying degrees of others that hit me randomly.

They're not like nightmares because with nightmares after waking up, you realize they're just constructs of your mind. Or tests administered by your higher self. These experiences are different in that I can sort of sense other minds aside from just my own inside the dream realm, if that makes any sense. It's a distinctly different feeling sensing another consciousness separate from your own when dreaming. Really unsettling.

So yea, I must consider that it could be a psychic attack. I'm kind of embarrassed I never thought of that before lol. If that is what it is, whatever is responsible is not going to like the animal they're creating. I'm not an eye for an eye guy or anything, but I do believe in cause and effect.

Anyway, thank you very much for linking that pdf, I will definitely read it. I'm grateful you took the time to dig it up for me. Much love to you and may the universe grant you a gift as you have done for me.

One of the most interesting threads I've read on glp

What do you think of the multiverse theory?

Do you think some of us are able to "slip" in and out of other dimensions?

Sometimes I feel like I'm living a million different lives at once.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44398409

If I had to guess, I'd say that there is more than one universe.

I think that some of us specialize in moving between dimensions while being able to adapt and function at a high level.

If you haven't already, you should read 'The Destiny of Souls' by Michael Newton, PhD. He's a hypnotherapist who does LBL (life between lives) regression therapy. It's a very fascinating book based on case studies with his patients.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Love the stories. I have 3 ufo sightings to share, one similar to your "airplane".

July, 2012. My husband was driving and we were stopping at a red light. He pointed at the sky straight ahead and said "What's that?". It was a shiny silver disk. Broad daylight, definitely had no wings. Moving slowly and headed into a cloud, the only cloud I could see. We kept watching waiting for it to come out the other side of the cloud and it never did. The light changed and we turned right, so I kept watching. The cloud actually dissipated and was gone, so was the object.

One night heading to bed, I looked out a north facing window at the top of the stairs. (Every night I glance out a south, a north and an east facing window before going to bed.) I saw a plane heading toward a cloud. It passed behind the cloud going from west to east and after a few seconds, I saw it coming out of the cloud from the same side it went in! It was now flying east to west. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore, but nothing else happened. Just looked like an airplane with it's flasher in the night sky.

Back in 1978 when I was 13, I saw one up close and personal. Standing in my front yard, there it was. I don't remember seeing it arrive or approach, just the memory of there it was. It was a silver disk about tree height right across the street, just sitting there hovering. Then BOOM it shot all the way down to the end of the housing, about 3 city blocks, then up and gone. We were living in Naval housing in Virginia.

After asking, found out that my brother and sister each remember a sighting when they were young. I'd love to hear your ghost stories! I have some of those as well.
 Quoting: HoosierMama 13803476

Very cool!

The encounter you had in 1978 was around the same time I had my first one. And I was about the same age too. Mine happened in north central NC and your description matches what I saw. Those ships can really zip around, that's for sure.

It's so nice of you to open up and share. I'm always looking at the sky too. Can anyone blame us?

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
These posts might sound crazy to some who are lurking, but to me the concept of normal is in itself a fallacy.

Fear is the mind killer, and the absence of fear can set us free. I've purposefully left out any experiences I may have had while under the influence of any substance. But I'm interested to read yours and I thank you for contributing to this thread.
 Quoting: <Path>

I wonder how much faster we'd all learn consciously forcing fear out of our equations. I think fear is an overdose of rationality.

On the substance topic - yes that does seem to 'discredit' some folks to a certain extent (Random archon posts anyone?), but then again brains emit DMT on their own accord, which gives the same argument weight in day-to-day life.

"No, your brain made you trip out a second. Just chemicals. All can be explained through our rationality."

rant

'Spontaneous-Daytime-DMT-Release': coming soon to a medical journal near us to discredit human spirituality in a single ham-fisted swing.

I mean sure, it COULD make sense that people are 'just' hallucinating if it wasn't being pushed around so much in a wheelbarrel by a creepy bigwig with all his other bullshit.

I'll let my experiences teach me what they are, seems like the safest bet to me.

You rant so well! Now it's my turn...

Mainstream science put itself in a box long ago. Or at least that's the way it is presented to the viewing public. Everything that doesn't fit inside the box is flatly discarded so as to keep hidden any knowledge that might adversely affect the self appointed controllers.

They're still pushing the story that there is no other intelligent life anywhere else in the known universe. In 1895 Percival Lowell documented an intelligent civilization on Mars far advanced of anything seen on Earth.

My my look how far we've come in 120 years. How long will the lies continue?

I'll share.

I was 12 and camping above the Gavins Point Dam with my mom. I was looking at the dam road to see if I could see my dad driving home to camp. The whole sky (on a sunny day) turned black. Campers were yelling UFO UFO. A beam of light slowly came down out of the sky until it hit the river It scanned the river up and down slowly and then slowly went back up into the sky. the sky turned blue, we never saw a UFO. After that the whole process repeated, the sky turned black dark the beam cam slowly down it scanned the river and went back up. People were still yelling UFO.

The park rangers drove around with a blow horn saying that what we had seen was just rare phenomena in the weather.

And then I think everyone forgot because I did and we didn't tell dad when he came home to camp.

I remembered while watching the new Close Encounters Of the Third Kind movie when I saw the beams of light.

That's a really neat one WindyMind! I've seen a beam ship twice at very close range. Not like any other lights I've seen.

The park rangers must have a standing protocol for these type things. I wonder if that's included in the training manual. Maybe they have a magic eight ball that they shake to formulate the weak explanations?

After asking, found out that my brother and sister each remember a sighting when they were young. I'd love to hear your ghost stories! I have some of those as well.
 Quoting: HoosierMama 13803476

Dear HoosierMama!

Thanks for reading and sharing, too, just wow.

As for a ghost story... here's my best one. I was not alone for this and so it is either a testimony of my own insanity... or that something really happened.

I was with the ex-ex boyfriend, a group of friends from work, and strangers. We were going through a tour in an old prison. Now, as we were lead through the FIRST corridor... there were some lights shining into a couple of the cells to show what the inside of the cells looked like.

As I walked through and looked into the cells I saw something in one of the cells and immediately rushed towards it. There was... a small lumpy human figure, I thought it was a doll to be honest, and I thought it was some kind of joke/prop. It would've been a rather large doll, however, I realized, about two or three feet tall, and it was placed... just in front of the light that was shining away from it into the cell, so it was just a black figure/a black silhouette.

I was there, seeing it, and I wanted to see it's face... so I put my own face in between the bars as close as I could get to it to try and see if my eyes would adjust to the lighting... (at this point I was talking to it but I did not know, later my ex-ex boyfriend would tell me) and then I wanted to TOUCH IT. I think I must've been thinking, "is this real?" But as I reached my arm in I got this "warning" feeling. Something told me, "don't you dare." I was kind of paralyzed in fear and wonder.

The next thing I know the tour guide grabbed my arm and tugged me away, saying, "we're holding up the group, you can't stay here long." And dazed and confused I looked over and my ex-ex boyfriend was right beside me and the others were all watching me... like I had lost my mind.

I asked them over and over again, "did you see the baby?" To which they just looked at me blankly with looks of shock and fear, and at first refusing to respond. They were afraid that I had actually seen some thing, or that I had completely lost my mind. Both notions would have been equally frightening to them, I'm guessing.

None of them saw it... but my ex-ex boyfriend later asked me in private, in ANGER (because I put on a spectacle and embarrassed him probably), "if you thought it was a doll then why were you talking at it?"

Wow. I was TALKING TO IT? I was so dazed that this was news to me, too. He said that he tried to pull me away from the cell himself, too, but couldn't. I vaguely remember now talking to it lovingly, LOVINGLY with thoughts of kindness and warmth and soothing reassurance, trying to get it to step into the light.

Imagine that... it's a true story. No wonder everyone looked at me with complete horror-stricken expressions. I had an audience.

Nothing else happened the rest of the tour.

We must all have various filters on our awareness which prevent us from seeing these things most of the time. For whatever reason, sometimes everything isn't blocked for some of us. What would the world look like without the filters?

Dang Louise thanks for bringing the heat! And if it's any consolation, I know that look well that the tour group was giving you.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
2008

I'm still having extreme insomnia and I'm listening to Silva method tapes trying to go to sleep. This particular day I closed my eyes and started to vibrate and then heard what sounded like water and a distinct HUM. As I'm laying there I come out of my body energetically and turn into a bluish white comet and take off and crash directly into the sun (which had a OM type hum) I don't know how long I was there but when I got back to my body I felt refreshed. The first thing I did when I got up is go tell my mom that I think I just went to the sun. She told me I KNOW... I was perplexed and that was the first time that somebody actually confirmed something of the sort in my life.

I've had a few other times since where I'd done things energetically and people tell me I KNOW ... and that was the end of the conversation.
 Quoting: acegotflows

That's pretty far out! I used to have insomnia really bad too. One night I started hearing an intense humming noise, and it seemed to be just outside the house near the bedroom wall where I was laying. I tried to wake my wife, but she was totally unresponsive.

I waited for a long time before the humming finally stopped. Then I was able to wake her up without a problem. She remembered nothing unusual. I feel fairly certain that she 'left the building' that night.
 Quoting: <Path>

interesting stuff.

That hum noise is intense. I haven't had so much conscious OBE stuff since 08, but at the same time I dream in a conscious manner now. I don't feel them as dreams but just to be continued from other aspects of my self.

a couple of times last year in my in-between state (not sleep but not awake... I know it well from the times of insomnia) I had some interesting visitations/dreams.

I got visited by a many handed being that I can only describe as Shiva from how the hands worked. I also had an interesting "dream" where I was at my childhood home and a disk shaped craft landed in the front yard. The beings that got out of it were tall mantis beings. My mom and i were standing there we hugged and then she got on with them and went thru a portal of some sort. I walked through the portal after the ship went through and it was a wasteland. I came back through and went in the house and everybody asked me "where's mom?" I told them she's gone and went back out to show them the spot in the yard where this all happened at.
 Quoting: acegotflows

I agree about dreams being a continuation of something. For me anymore, it's like going through a revolving door. Except it's easier to remember here when I am there than the other way around.

Sometimes I find myself working on something like a movie set, where we are setting the stage for the next day here. There is also role playing where we put ourselves in different situations to better understand each other's perspectives and experiences.

The last thing I remember was the rangers and people stopped yelling and we didn't tell dad when he came home so I think they erased memories that day.

And if that long ago the ability to erase memories existed why not use it for every encounter that a lot of people see? the zapper

I would not have remembered if I hadn't had a memory que from that movie. And I was terrified to tell anyone for no good reason. :)

 Quoting: Sinclair

To ROAR or NOT TO ROAR...that is the question....I agree not all anger responses are of the negative polarity... RIGHTEOUS ANGER is a DUTY...when Ones HEART is firing up @ 528 hrz...UNCONDITIONAL BABY! ... ALL THE WAY!

I agree that anger has its place. Just as long as we don't take it out on an innocent person, plant, animal, spirit. And when we do let our emotions get the better of us, it's important to go back and apologize sincerely. And sometimes make further reparations.

Often times if we don't show anger/rage, we can get run slap over.

Yes I remember being very confused when this started happening to me. I would hear what sounded like a loud jet in the distance. This would last for a few minutes. Then the beeping would start. It usually happened around the same time every night for me. The beeping sounds would last for hours sometimes. Then it would stop and I'd hear the jet noise again.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Double posted.

I will take this opportunity to talk about facing our fears. Make a list of all the things of which you're afraid. Then go through the list and ask yourself why.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I was afraid of the dark as an adult. I started going camping to alleviate that one.

Snakes, spiders, scorpions, etc I respect but no longer fear them, thanks to the camping excursions

I was also afraid of death, until I realized that I basically die every night when I go to sleep. And then I'm reborn again every morning.

I also used to be afraid of myself, until I faced the mirror and stared myself straight in the eyes and came to grips with the mask I wear. I know now that it is only one of many.

It's very important that we define our fears and acknowledge them. And then resolve them one by one.

Your response is spot on in my humble opinion. The only way to truly understand this phenomenon is by experiencing it firsthand.

For the people who go from thread to thread spreading the fear of demons and the like, I feel much compassion. Maybe through reading posts such as these, some will reconsider everything that they THINK they know, and stop spreading undue fear.

Replace the fear with love and appreciation, knowing that we are all protected on many levels.

 Quoting: Sinclair

In my experience, spirit does not speak English. Energy, emotion, synchronicity, visuals, and dream weaving are modes of communication just to name a few. I know you're probably just kidding, but I just wanted to throw in my $.02 worth.
