Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
I found myself in front of this giant book which seemed to have holographic pages and a golden cover. On each side of this book sat a giant figure with golden sandals.

I dove into the book and found that it contained many of my past lives. I explored the pages of this book for what seemed like an eternity. When I arose from this vision, I quietly slipped out of the tent so as not to wake my wife. Tears of appreciation streamed down my face as I strolled up the beach for hours, thanking the universe for allowing me to have this experience.
 Quoting: <Path>

I also had this experience. I was sitting on a bench with a gigantic book being held up on either side of me by two extremely large beings.

The book was at least 3 feet tall, and thick, and the two beings were being carefully to absorb all of the weight of it, so as not to crush me.

It was clear that this was a book about me, and where I have been, the planets and lifetimes I've experienced, and also their were blueprints for the future.

They were going over the contents with me in detail, and explaining many things which I could not recall upon awakening, for this was a lucid dream.

I remember at one point looking down at their massive legs and their huge feet, shod in golden sandals, and estimating that from their size of their feet and legs, they must be at least 12 feet tall when standing.

Ive never really been visited by anyone.
But id be walking through the woods by myself and just feel.. an elation.
Then id realize, something else was standing there with me.
It was always so warm and loving.
It took me years of running around in the Colorado wilderness to realize it was my spirit guide.

I havent done that in a while. I really need to get back to those thigns.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
In 2011 I was traveling across country on Veteran's Day weekend from AZ to NC. I stopped for gas just outside of Nashville.

While I was pumping my gas, an older homeless man asked me for a ride. I asked him where he was going and he said, "Anywhere but here."

Apparently he had worn out his welcome there, so I told him to load his things into my car. He was also a veteran as it turned out.

I decided to put him up in a motel for the night with what little bit of money I had left from my trip. We decided on an exit and proceeded to look for a suitable room for him.

We saw a place that looked decent and I went to make a U-turn. He said, "Brother would you get mad if I wanted to go to the liquor store before you drop me off?" I told him that I wasn't going to buy him any alcohol. He said he had just a few bucks and only wanted a pint.

So I said sure and turned into a Walmart parking lot to ask someone where the ABC store was. I asked at least twenty people and none of them knew. I told the man that I felt that someone didn't want him to go to the liquor store.

He kind of smirked and said that he would find out, Then he stopped about twenty people in the parking lot, and still could not find anyone who knew where the liquor store was. (When I got home I looked on the internet and there were two liquor stores off that exit by the way)

He looked shell shocked and agreed that evidently he wasn't supposed to go to the liquor store that day.

We headed back towards the motel and stopped at a red light. As we sat there, I saw a group of translucent orbs in the sky moving in sets of three. I called the man's attention to them and said, "They're the ones who don't want you to get any liquor today."

He looked up wild eyed and nodded his head slowly.

In March of 2010 I had a serious urge to sleep by the ocean, and was able to convince my wife to go camping for a couple of days on the coast.

As I lay there in the tent with the sounds of the waves and the wind, I drifted into the 'in between' state.

I found myself in front of this giant book which seemed to have holographic pages and a golden cover. On each side of this book sat a giant figure with golden sandals.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Back in the 90's I was doing HVAC. A co-worker and I often did side jobs for extra money.

One weekend, we had some work adding a couple of vents to a log cabin. The young couple had a newborn and were doing some home improvements. There was plastic draped over most of the kitchen and living room to prevent dust from getting all over everything.

We completed our work, got paid and were saying our goodbyes. The couple was also leaving to run errands, with the newborn in tow. When we got to the door, I turned around and told the man he should move the plastic away from his chandelier. He said it wasn't a concern, because it had been over a week since he put the plastic up. But he said if it would make me feel better he would move it.

Before he could get over to the chandelier, the plastic burst into flames.

He asked me how did you know that? I told him that it wasn't me, that someone was watching out for him and I'm a conduit like that sometimes.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Once I was just driving along at a normal pace with three passengers in the car with me.

As I approached an intersection the stoplight turned from green to red... no yellow! Luckily there was still time for me to get through without a collision. I never looked at stoplights the same way again after that!

On another occasion, I mindlessly stopped at a green light. The car behind me started honking the horn and I started to go, feeling kind of stupid. Just then a car blew through the intersection coming from my left. The car wouldn't have hit me, although I'm almost certain it would have creamed the person behind me.

I don't know how you feel about Whitley Strieber or if you've read any of his books, but in his Communion series (especially the ones later on) he describes having very similar communications with entities.
 Quoting: Doomish

Last year I found a copy of 'The Secret School' by Whitney Streiber at the goodwill store. This was an excellent read and is right on par with many of my experiences.

[link to www.kirkusreviews.com (secure)]

I've read some of the Communion material, but it's been a while. I might get more out of it now by revisiting some of his earlier work.
 Quoting: <Path>

When I see that title "The Secret School", it always calls to mind a very vivid and peculiar experience I had as a child. It was during the night and I think it may have been a dream, but unlike any other dream I have ever had, and trust me, I have had some doozies!

In the dream, I was in a very futuristic classroom like setting - I can still picture it in my mind. I was seated to the far right, a few rows from the front of a curved classroom (rows curving away from the front, not toward). I was watching the wall/screen? to the front of the room and suddenly, a page of text was visible with a large hand with pointed index finger following the line of text. The story was about a battle. Then suddenly, a second scene became visible to the right of the first, showing a video like scene of beings involved in a battle. The beings were not human, but rather upright bipedal insect like beings with a chitinous exoskeleton. I recall seeing that they had inlaid stones/jewels/??? in the area of exoskeleton where we have collar bones.

Then suddenly, I was sucked into one of the beings and seeing/experiencing the battle from his perspective. He (bizarre, as I am female) was a leader and felt the battle (all battles) were glorious! Where I had previously watched the scene with detached horror/distaste, suddenly, as him, I was experiencing a very different perspective as "I" hacked and killed and maimed. "I" remember thinking as I was in the midst of this mayhem, how many new decorations I would attain from this battle if "I" survived it (the inlays in the chitin were from killing enemies and victories in battles previously fought).

Then I was back out in the classroom and experiencing all three vantage points simultaneously - reading about the battle, viewing the battle, and being in the battle.

Very peculiar experience, among a lifetime of peculiar experiences. It is nice to have a forum in which to share them. Thanks.

Another great post! I have these kinds of dreams regularly. What a great description you have given!

This is an excellent example of how we learn on the other side. I can expand further on this. Imagine having the technology to recreate any situation and then being able to experience it from all the different perspectives involved in that situation.

What better way to teach tolerance? What if we have to relive all the times we have hurt someone, except this time from THEIR perspective.

I'm in a study group in the spirit world where we construct all kinds of scenarios, much like a movie set. Then we live out various scenes with different variables.

The classrooms are exactly as you describe them. Often, it feels like I spend weeks in the spirit world doing these kinds of things just to prepare for one more day 'here'.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
I'll share an abbreviated version…

I was driving in the middle of nowhere with nothing in sight except trees. The road was flat but not straight, so you could only see a mile or so in front of you when you made a corner. It was late morning, not a cloud in the sky, and no wind at all - mid 70's temp.

I was alone in pickup truck and driving a little too fast. As I came around a corner, I first saw a road that angled away from my road to the left. It kind of resembled a Y, with me coming up from the bottom and my road turning to the right.

As i approached the intersection (I did not have to stop), I noticed a ball of light approaching from my road on the right. It was below the tree line and following my road exactly. When it hit the intersection it made a quick smooth hard right hand turn and traveled away from me, but in my line of sight.

It was yellowish orange and was about the size of a large beach ball. I would guess it was traveling about 40 to 50 MPH, and didn't slow down to make the 270 degree turn. It stayed below the tree line at all times, and remained approximately centered above the middle of the road. I didn't hear a sound, although I was probably about 50 yards away when it made the turn. It departed quickly and I lost sight of it as I made the turn.

I never felt alarmed - it was over before I had a chance to think about it.

Do you ever wonder what would've happened if you had followed the orb or tried to communicate with it?
 Quoting: <Path>

NO, not really. I haven't even thought about it in years.

I have had a few strange experiences in my life time, I'm currently 44 years old. I haven't had anything in a long while happen to me and lately have been feeling very alone in my life and my beliefs.
Though raised Christian..I have taken my own path and although I lean more toward Christian beliefs..I'm certainly not what you'd call a fundamentalist. In all of my years of self study and research, including glp since 2005..I am left with more questions than answers and it can be extremely frustrating..especially when you very strongly seek after truth. I chose this particular post to make my response because since my awakening if you will?..I've been drawn to both light houses and wolves..hence my handle. I don't know why..I just am. You sound like someone I would feel quite privileged to get to know. I hope that doesn't make you nervous. Rest assured..I'm no stalker..just a middle aged married woman who has experienced a spiritual? if you will, side of life with no one to share it/ponder it with. Anyway..I just wanted to say hello and express my gratitude for this thread. Much love to you OP. I sense you're an old soul with much love for humanity hf

They are. Every once in a while I get that "tap" on the back of my shoulder or something just letting me know that there are things around that are good.

Ill share something on the darker side of things.
Several things I guess.

When I was younger, the oldest of my younger brothers and I were inseparable. We would spend HOURS, days just roaming around the wilderness where ever we lived at the time just doing random kid things.
You know, playing in the mud n whatnot.
Well one afternoon when we lived in what I call the middle of nowhere Colorado, we were exploring a little father than normal. Getting closer to the Arkansas river than we really were supposed to.
My brother and I were standing on the sand bank that over looked the whole thing and in unison, we turned to each other and he says, "Yeah we should leave huh."
I just nodded. As we walked off, the entire area probably the size of two or three ford pickup trucks, just totally disappeared into the river.
I just looked at him, and he looked at me, we nodded and walked up the bank and hill side towards the house.

==
The second time something horrid happened, I was in the middle of a time in my life where things were bad. My father had just died, I was pretty much stoned/drunk 98% of the time and things were just all around bad.
Well one night, at about 9pm, some guys that I was crashing with decided that they needed to find some pot.
They looked all over town and found that most of the places were dry. So, instead of just staying home, they decided to go up to Kansas City and find something, since one of them knew someone or something, honestly i dont remember.
Well, they got ready to go and I looked over at one of the girls and just said (in her words), with the most serious scariest voice ever, that they couldnt go anywhere. They had to wait.
Just wait.
Thats all I said. Was wait, and they couldnt go.
I had a nervous break down and most of the people there thought i was fucking crazy.
Everyone convinced me that things would be fine, but I knew it.. I knew something was going to be wrong.
Im like, you all are going to get hurt. I ended up standing on the edge of the sidewalk, barefoot, screaming and pointing at them and yelling that they were going to get hurt and I warned them so its their own damn fault.
Note: I was not a stable human then lol.
Well. Time went on, we watched a movie, had some beers n whatnot, and 9am rolled around.
The girl that explained my voice to me later, she comes and wakes me up off the couch and is like, "I think somethings wrong." im like, what? Is someone breaking into the house?
Shes like, no, but its been over 8 hours since the guys left to go get weed.
Im like, shit shit shit... we ended up waking up everyone in the house at 9am (which was like, really early lol), and everyone was angry.
At 11am that morning, they finally pulled up.
The car was TOTALED. The entire front bumper looked like someone took sledge hammers to it.
The latino kid had a black eye, busted arm, and cuts and scrapes everywhere.
The chubby white dude that was driving, had two black eyes, and he didnt have his shirt anymore.
The guy in the back, had a cast over his arm, a cane, and some kind of brace or something over one of this legs.
They all had been treated by EMS.
Of course everyone freaked out, asking questions, what happened, where did you go, did someone hurt you, etc etc.
The white guy that was driving, he stands there in the living room (mind you the entire time I was feeling that justified hahaha i knew it feeling and was on the couch, arms folded), and he just turns to me and he just says in the most .... evangalistic way, "You knew."
I told him that I fucking warned them, that they dont listen when warned its their own damn fault when shit happens.
From then on, in that stupid little group. If I told someone dont do it, most listened lol.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Hey Path, thanks so much for this thread.
I was just remembering an odd thing that happened...don't laugh...in walmart. Why not, right?
I was going up and down the aisles looking for whatever and I looked up and saw an odd looking man standing at the far end of the aisle. Odd because it was spring and he had on a trench coat and fedora pulled down on his head and sunglasses. I had on a blouse and capris. Big difference. Anyway my red flags started going off like popcorn. I turned my cart around and went 3 aisles over and turned in and stopped to see if there was anything I needed on that one. My hair raised up on the back of my neck and I turned and he was behind me, about half an aisle down. I stood my ground and stared at him. He lowered his glasses and his eyes were mostly white, maybe a tinge of blue. I said out loud: Alien! He turned on a dime and took off. I left my buggy and chased after him, never saw him again.

Here's a sweet one: after a long day at work and I was really dragging, I finally gave up got my things and went down to the parking lot. As I stepped away from the bldg. a swarm(unusual) of dragon flies swooped down and were flying on either side of me. I could actually feel a breeze from them. Don't know how many but a lot, too many to count. They escorted me to my car and as I reached for the door handle, in unison they all went straight up and disappeared. I felt completely revived and a sense of calm and peacefulness came over me. The 45 minute drive was a breeze.

Hi
Nice tread!
Enjoying it very much
I stopped so far at page 2 and will keep reading.
But on my side, something is happening to me for the past 3 years. I'm seeing numbers, like 2222, 1111, 4444 etc... every day
Any guess of the potential message behind it?

Here's my angel one. I was riding a fairly green colt. Not doing anything fancy, just switching him over from a bosal to the bit. He was not happy with the bit so I was being very light on the reins and using my legs to urge him forward. From nowhere a dog shot under the fence and the colt bolted...I let him go a little, to get over his fear and then began gently reining him in, but it wasn't working. Pulled him in smaller and smaller circles and suddenly he decided he had had enough and slammed on breaks and reared and shot straight up. Problem was then he came down...on me! When it was all over and I realized I was alive...my stepson said: Man I thought you were dead and who the hell is sarah? I looked at him like he had lost his mind and he said when the horse shot into the air I yelled Sarah! 2 weeks later I was in New Orleans and one of the Tarot readers that sit at tables on the street, kept staring at me. I was minding my own business enjoying an ice cream cone. Finally she came over to me and said: Her name is Serra. I almost fainted. So I paid her $20 and she read the cards and said: She's an angel you know.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
They're always with us, of course. Sometimes we become more aware of them for whatever reason. Most often for me, it's when I step outside of my comfort zone.

And when I wake from dreaming, often I know I've been with them.
 Quoting: <Path> nli 4810352

==

Heeding the warning signs can save us from unnecessary suffering, for sure.

Those are both great examples. Without these nudges, our asses would have been grassed long ago many times over.

Now is a good time to give credit where it's due: THANK YOU SPIRIT!

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Hi
Nice tread!
Enjoying it very much
I stopped so far at page 2 and will keep reading.
But on my side, something is happening to me for the past 3 years. I'm seeing numbers, like 2222, 1111, 4444 etc... every day
Any guess of the potential message behind it?
 Quoting: DEFRE

Thanks Defre and it's good to 'see' you. In my opinion the recurring number sequences are a way for spirit to communicate with you.

What the message is exactly could vary with each instance. There are websites that break down the potential message associated with each number.

Here's one:

What a bargain at $20! I would've paid her too. All of this makes me wonder why some of us get more messages from spirit than others; while some seemingly get none at all.

Oh and

Don't even get me started on this topic lol. I curse the stars every night but can't help myself from gazing upon them. They're just too beautiful.

But man, the anger and bitterness sure runs deep with this subject. < Throws on "What a Wonderful World"...calms down >

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Around the time of that same year as the 3 'doctors', my 5 or 6 year old son came in and awoke me in the middle of the night.
"Mummy, mummy, wake up! There's little daddys all over the room!"
And he went on to say one was sitting on the bureau, one was by the window and so on for maybe 5 or 6 of them. Now this child never had nightmares, never awoke in the middle of the night so my normal reaction would have been to see what he was talking about and calm him down.

But all I did was tell him everything was ok and to go back to bed. He persisted but I did nothing. The next morning he was upset and couldn't understand why I didn't listen to him. I told him if it ever happened again that he was to shake me, be loud and not give up and that I would get up

Sure enough it happened again about a week later...everything exactly the same and still I didn't open my eyes. In the morning I had him draw a picture of them. They all had a diagonal sash across their chests but I wondered about the one that he drew on the wall that looked like a can. He said it was 'the boss one'' and it stayed on the wall.

Never happened again. Other things did and I'll post again when I can.

Re: Sharing my strange/weird/unusual experiences....
Also, I gotta toss this question out there in this thread:

Does anyone know what the Morse Code like sound in the ear is all about?

I've had that happen more than once and although I've heard theories I've never gotten a real concrete answer from someone who seemed convinced they knew the truth of it.
 Quoting: Sinclair

I am so glad you brought this up. I started getting this a couple of weeks before my 14 year old dog passed away. It was a morse code-like clicking in my left ear. It went away for the longest time after she passed away, but now it is back. It tends to happen a lot when I contemplate "spiritual" matters. From what I have researched it is your angels or spirit guides providing you with information. I truly feel that they prepared me for the most dreaded time of my life, losing my girl. For that I am thankful.
 Quoting: loathingbutterfly

Interesting. I've had it after waking from jarring dream experiences. I asked this question once before on here and someone theorized that it might be bringing dormant DNA online and/or updating currently active DNA. But I've never noticed much of a difference to myself after it happens.

I've heard the spirit communication theory before but if that's the case, I have no idea what the hell they're communicating so it's not a very smart way for them to go about doing it. English would work a lot better than incredibly fast Morse-like code sounds lol.
 Quoting: Sinclair

I'm still on pg 8 reading, but this made me sit up (literally). I get the morse code in my ears, too. Really just noticed it this year. I have no clue what it means, but I'm like you - English would make more sense.

Really interesting thread, OP.

Here's my first ghost experience - I was in highschool sleeping on the couch at my parents house. Both my parents were outside. My mom collected carousel horses at the time, and there was a merry-go-round on the mantel. It was something never played with. It started playing music and turning. I woke up, sat up and looked straight at it. It stopped playing immediately.

I had a plane experience that I still don't know if I believe today. One morning, driving to work, I saw a plane the size of a commercial liner. It dropped like it was going to crash right over my parents neighborhood. All of a sudden, it pulled up and off to a right angle - really unlike I have ever seen commercial liner move. I was in shock for minutes, but still driving. None of the other drivers acted like they saw a thing. I checked all news sites that day, but nothing.

Syncronicities are commonstance. I see them so much it's comical.
