It's all privacy related and will not interfere with videos that is flash enabled, nor will it interfere with ads. Tho, this is a whole other privacy issue for Adobe does keep track of users video viewing from sites such as you tube, college humor, face book. There are alternatives to Adobe Flash, just search around as there are plenty of addons for Chrome or Firefox that disables all of Adobe Flash items while allowing you do view Flash based videos and sites. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 50179439 United States 01/26/2014 10:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Adobe is used within most browsers. Adobe Flash is the main culprit. When you install adobe flash player you have to agree to a terms of use. This terms of use, if you read the whole 3 pages will tell you that by default when you install Adobe flash that you agree to allow Adobe to collect user statistics. This includes listening to your microphone, your speakers, and even webcam access WITHOUT you knowing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 53438437 So what can be done about it? DISABLE IT. Adobe has a "Global Settings Manager" with options to turn off logging capability's. You can even turn off LSO cookie storage without the need of a third party program.
