How do you know they aren't conducting aerial photography? You don't. The only thing you could possibly say with any certitude is that (3) B-2 Bombers flew over the area of a Hopi Reservation in a straight line. Everything else is pure speculation. Since all available public information lists the Air Force as only having (20) B-2's using them as crop dusters doesn't make much sense. If some nefarious plot were afoot there are better ways to deliver "aerosols" instead of a B-2 which is designed to do exactly what the name says and drops bombs. With all due respect thank you for bringing the occurrance to our attention and I'm just saying the simplest solution is usually the correct one... What makes me think they are spraying aerosols? Because I know what a cloud looks like and how it behaves. Because I have watched for months while the spraying has increased to epic levels. Every day. Because contrails don't hang around and hold their shape for eight hours at a time before forming a milky white blanket in the sky. I'm paying attention, just as you should. I'm not saying that you don't know the difference between a cloud and trails from a plane. What I'm saying is that how do you know this is not just the normal operational signatures from a B-2? How do you tell the difference between the signatures of a normal B-2 and a B-2 modified to spray aerosol? I couldn't tell the difference so how can you? Do you have some special knowledge of B-2's that allow you to discern this? I don't and I doubt you do either. No offense intended... I'm just saying. They were in a straight line, one behind the other. The first two were NOT streaming anything behind them. The third, however, was. The plume coming out of the rear of the third aircraft started to die out. Then, the second aircraft started streaming a white plume behind. The first aircraft never showed any trail. There you go. Now use your head a little and think about it. I did read your original post thoroughly as well as look at the picture and it is quite a good catch. Only one is "spraying" in the picture, but the other two are in a cloud bank but there are no prior trails from them leading into the cloud bank. Perhaps the B-2 only needs to discharge condensation from time to time, but I do believe your testimony that when one stopped "spraying" another one picked up where another left off. Maybe this is some coordinated effort to mask the group of planes as a whole and appear as only one plane even to a sensor sophisticated enough to detect their signatures. None of us know how the systems of a B-2 are designed to work. They fly high enough that weather modification is a possibility, but I don't think they're out to hurt the Hopi or you and your community. That's just my two cents otherwise I wouldn't have taken the time to respond to your thread, unlike the majority of threads on GLP, if I didn't think there was something to your ideas, even if they are something other than you suppose them to be. It is the first time, however, that I was able to photograph this ongoing MILITARY operation. Your participation is appreciated, and I apologize if I came off as condescending.
