The gov't has been doing research on pot since 78 -79, all "seeds'" are GMOed and owned by Monsanto. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37066414 Can you provide any evidence to substantiate your claims so we can decipher 'fact' from 'subjective speculation'? no, he can't, cause he totally made it up. Of course, he'll give a link to an obscure blog to count as "evidence" Meanwhile, you can still get seeds from wild plants in most of North America. My thoughts exactly. |

It removes all aspects of privacy and patient doctors "privilege", they will tell you when you have a issue, not the other way around. Title; HEALTHCARE NOT HANDCUFFS Putting the Affordable Care Act to Work for Criminal Justice and Drug Policy Reform The Affordable Care Act (ACA) sets the stage for a new health-oriented policy framework to address substance use and mental health disorders. By dramatically expanding and funding healthcare coverage to millions of currently uninsured people, the ACA represents a remarkable opportunity for criminal justice and drug policy reform advocates to advance efforts for policies promoting safe and healthy communities, without excessive reliance on the criminal justice solutions that have become so prevalent under the War on Drugs. This paper is intended as a starting framework for criminal justice and drug policy advocates to navigate the ACA, and to take advantage of the conceptual and practical opportunities it offers for shifting the conversation and the landscape. PDF [link to www.drugpolicy.org] BTW this whole thing OP posted is a trap to seize money and monitor cash flow. Remember if you smoke pot you have no second amendment rights, next they will pass it on to alcohol. Last Edited by Chrit on 01/24/2014 02:46 PM I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. I hope the law catches up to them some day. I wood love to see Holder sharing a cell with King Barry. Quoting: Epic Beard Guy ^this^ After the buzz wears off, people really need to think about what just happened... again. Rule by fiat is the exact opposite of what this country was founded on. People should be free to possess a naturally occurring plant. However, they should not look to one lone ruler to allow them that privilege. It should be republic law, not a fiat proclamation. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 44804106 United States 01/24/2014 02:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look up Opium war in the late 1800's. Basically china didn't want to deal with the British as a business/trade partner so the British imported opium and it made all the chinese lazy and stupid. So the British come is and take over the main port, they seize it, and become the only trade partner. So countries/governments can and have used drugs to control populations. |

This is an attempt to quell the dissent. Yes, it is. possibly, but this is one issue the left has supported for a long time. most of the right have been lured in by "security" and "prison" money, so they don't tend to support this stuff, especially at the state level. |

The answer is FAGS condoned, not condoned they are corrupt and evil In writing your acceptance letters for the invitation to Lucifer's Masquerade Ball, they have you where they want you, acting as if they are joining your ranks, when in actuality, your jumping on their band wagon, because it was parked there, waiting for you all along, and where it's going, all roads lead straight down to Hell. |

I used to smoke everyday and then it was like I became allergic to it all the sudden. Something has changed with it. My guess is a genetic variant has finally saturated the natural genome and this the government is ready to open the flood gates on the stuff. Use with caution people. There's something fishy going on. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46808465 I would agree.....they never do anything for the good of the people......there is some kind of agenda here. All of a sudden they are falling all over themselves to legalise it??? Quoting: saffire&gold they are? is that why only 4% of the states have legalized it? the legalization in 2 states is the results of a decades long movement by the people in those states pushing for support in their government. If the government was really behind legalization, we'd have legalization today, and they'd release everyone in prison for pot and related crimes. Hell, in some parts of Texas, they can throw you in jail for having a pipe (not even having marijuana). So, how exactly are they falling over themselves to legalize it? The hidden agenda here is that the left sees that the majority of people support legalization, so they've made it their issue. The right could have done the same thing, but instead, they went with "zero tolerance" and catered laws to their private prison contributors. |

Post the actual law, or STFU. you can still buy with cash or bitcoin, no tracking needed. compare that with GOING TO JAIL, and maybe even getting a felony (like in Texas) and never getting to own a gun after that, either. |

Where are the reports of all these individuals who already own firearms and have medical access now having their 2nd amendement right revoked? Why does the questionaire on the permit application specifically inquire about 'addiction' as opposed to simply usage? |
