Quoting: Brussel Sprout Never heard of a werecat before. Tell us the story! It's going to have a weird format because I'm about to copy paste it from an email I once send my rl best friend about it. Rather than typing it all out again (I'm way too lazy for that right now). And I swear I did not make that up, embellished how it remember it or stole it from someone else, this is my own personal experience. i'm actually not joking at all ..this time the cat person ... It happened twice, but twice it was etched into my memory First time was when I was a teenager I was in a street after dark , simply because as a teenager I liked to have long walks, even after dark I am hyperactive, so i look around a lot, constantly I noticed no one in the streets untill that one exact moment where I spotted a cat across the street, it was running. Fine paces beyond that moment I look back, I see a person standing there, looking STRAIGHT at me ! faced to me ,pointed to me ... that person was looking straight at me ... I had heard no doors opening/closing , you hear that happening in an empty street with no traffic -__- I immediately felt the urge to run, not away but towards! And I did ! ... I only stopped to look away to see weither a car was comign around the corner , i looked back and he was gone ! I still ran to that spot, and I saw nothing, not a living soule while he could not have gone anywhere at all, I remember him so clearly, all its features EXCEPT the facial features, there where none ... there really weren't .. yet i can describe the hair, the shape of the face , the pose and the body shape in great detail ! When I finally did get to that spot , I looked to my right and less than 5 meter away from me was sitting that exact same cat I had seen running across the street ! That was the moment I felt it was time to leave . So went homeward Second time it happened was weeks ago I was sitting at the exact spot i'm sitting now at my couch ... i heard cats outside, while i live in a city It was so quiet outside, hearing cats , two fighting or about to i really hate that sound, it always reminds me of small children crying for some reason So i went to my window, there where two cats in my street about to fight I made loud PSSHT sound to chase them off, and one of them did, instantly, the other just kept looking after the one running the one running stopped right underneath my window and looked back at the other cat (never me , while cats usually look at threathening sounds ...) i made the soudn again and it ran off into the distance, i immediately looked back at the other cat ... and surprise ,there was no cat ! there stood a person ! that exact person that had been there in my teenage years ! being at spot where no living being , let alone a human could have been at that moment ! They would have needed superhuman speed ! It was a matter of seconds and he stood staring up, STRAIGHT at me ! I closed the window immediately, because at that moment , i was scared shitless, i can't remember a face at all, yet all the rest , yes ! Not only that , his feet where pointed towards me , the face pointed up at me ... This was one of the most scary things ever to happen to me, I even went to wake up my partner in a panic saying someone was standing outside the window, he went to look but of course that only made me look like a hysterical idiot |

They are far more universal that the localized cryptoids. I have read that at the time it became obvious that humans would rule the earth, not the little people or the giants, that the little people went underground to live until the end times. There seems to be quite a lot of physical evidence for the giant race, but not much for the little people. Here are some examples from the Scandinavian countries, one is very recent: In Iceland, Elves, Or 'Hidden Folk,' May Be Real And Could Prevent Highway Construction In Iceland, conservation groups are trying to stop a highway from being built but the reason why could surprise many people. According to the Icelandic Road and Coastal Commission, the highway would destroy sacred Elf habitats and endanger thousands of "hidden folk." In Iceland, many individuals believe there is a possibility that elves exist and their safety has led to several stalled construction projects. The Associated Press cites a 2007 University of Iceland survey, 62 percent of the 1,000 polled said it was possible that elves were real. In the AP report, the Icelandic Road and Coastal Commission and the Hraunavinir, or Friends of Lava, have banded together to stop the construction of a highway connecting Alftanes peninsula to Gardabaer, a suburb of Reykjavik. The groups claim the project would destroy an elf church and put thousands of elves, or Huldufólk, in danger. [link to www.ibtimes.com] **** Norwegian Elf: Nisse Fjøsnisse The Barn Elf (Fjøsnissen) is a creature from Scandinavian folklore. He was often described as a short man, “no bigger than a horse’s head”, wearing grey clothes, knickerbockers and a red hat similar to what Norwegian farmers would wear. As the name suggests, the Fjøsnisse lived in the barn. Of course, he was so shy that he was hardly ever seen, but he was a good little helper on the farm as long as the farmers treated him well. Especially at Christmas he would expect to get a large bowl of porridge and homebrewed beer, in return for looking after the livestock. Often the farmers would also leave the leftovers from Christmas dinner on the table so the Nisse could help himself. But if farmers failed to keep him fed and happy, the Nisse would do mischief or harm to both animals and people. [link to mylittlenorway.com] *** Nisse by Jason Clarke In Scandinavian folklore, a "household spirit" responsible for the care and prosperity of a farm. A nisse was usually described as a short man (under four feet tall) wearing a red cap with a tassel. While belief in guardian spirits is a very old tradition in Scandinavia, belief in nisser was prominent in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in Denmark, southern Norway and southern Sweden. Many farms claimed to have their own nisse. The nisse took an active interest in the farm by performing chores such as grooming horses, carrying bales of hay, and other farm-related tasks. [link to www.pantheon.org] ***** Thunderbird About 15 years ago my husband and I were driving in the remote mountains in north Idaho, when I saw a strange, very large flying creature maybe 1/4 mile away. It was very large, dark, and flew with its head pointed straight out. The strangest thing was the wings, which did not flap like an eagle or a buzzard, but very rigidly and mechanically moved up and down, up and down. I was astounded at that, because it was a big creature, and the wings were so large that it would take tremendous power to move them like that. They are far more universal that the localized cryptoids. Quoting: waterlily I have read that at the time it became obvious that humans would rule the earth, not the little people or the giants, that the little people went underground to live until the end times. I am an birdwatcher, and have seen many large birds in flight. I can tell you, this was not a bird as we know birds. my brother and I saw an elf when I was 6 and he was 8. It sounds crazy but we didn't do drugs. She was a little woman and she wore clothes. Our mother laughed at us And we have the Hopi prophecy saying that the big animals, including the thunderbird, will start to appear, here and there, as this cycle ends me too. i kind of remember seeing a very small elf less than a foot tall when i was like 5years old. also one of my sisters classmates had brought a small elf in a jar to school said he found it in the canyon that is outside of town. |
