I normally wouldn't post a thread like this. Anyway...

I can't stand flying, actually I fucking loathe it. However, I've been flying a LOT in the past couple years and even more so in the lat 8 months, due to the fact that I've been doing a lot of traveling because I began working from home earlier this year which allows me the freedom to make my own schedule and work from anywhere where I have internet.

So, to get to the point, I just wanted to make a recommendation to everyone who has to fly within the US to use Southwest Airlines. And no, I'm not trying to plug Southwest for any other reason that that they are hands down the absolute best (by far) domestic airline. I am 100% sure of this. Why?

- Southwest has online fares, which when bought only 6 days out are unbelievably cheap.

- You can check two (2) bags completely for free and carry on another 2 for free.

- Soda/water is free (liquor/beer costs, but is cheaper than all other airlines)

- You get decent legroom, especially for the price

- Pilot & crew always are helpful and have a good sense of humor, they're not assholes like most other airlines

- Check-in process at the airport is ALWAYS quick. They get shit done. Even when the line is long, I've never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes at most.

- Open seating - sit where you want.

- The price you see for the ticket online is your TOTAL PRICE. The taxes, surcharges, etc. are all included and you'll never get a total that's different than the price shown for the flight itself when searching.

- ALWAYS on time. Even when the departing flight is 15 minutes late, they haul ass and get you to your destination 10 minutes early.

- Plenty of flights and 90% of the time you can find a non-stop without paying more. If they have a non-stop flight, it's the same price as ones with a stop or plane change (most airlines charge a bit more for non-stop).

- Refundable flights (when you cancel 24 hours in advance)

TSA sucks, airports sucks, and flying is a stressful pain in the ass. I've flown practically every airline in the US multiple times and the reasons above are why I ALWAYS fly Southwest when I'm able to.

Flying with other airlines ALWAYS incurs an extra cost. $25 to $50 for each checked bag, or "free bags" (unless they weigh over 40 lbs.), only one carry on bag for free then it's $30 per, $4 for a bottle of water or can of coke, cramped uncomfortable seating, assigned seating, late flights, shitty customer service, etc.

Anyways, for those of you who hate flying like I do or simply have to fly frequently, try southwest. I guarantee you will be happy and not want to use another airline. I honestly don't see why anyone who has a choice would choose a different airline.

And don't forget to relinquish your Creator granted rights when you are in the airport.

Its refreshing to know how easily sheep give up their rights whenever ordered to.

Just remember...A good slave, is an obedient slave.

Happy travels!
