Yes, get rid of it.

It is now a fire hazard.

Re: Should I take down my Christmas Tree?
If it's a real tree you should do what I did. I took mine down and to show my wife what a fire hazard it was, I put it in my fire pit and flicked my lighter once near a branch for less than a second. Within 15 seconds the tree was engulfed in thick flames and within 3 minutes it was smoldering charcoal. I will never bring a dead tree in my house and attach electricity to it ever again.

Depends. Are you:
Full of the Christmas spirit all year round?
A Druid? ... the original "tree huggers" chuckle
Overly fond of pretty flashing lights?
Lazy?

If any of the above, just leave it up. Otherwise, I would take the fire hazard space hog down.

In that case, enjoy staring at the pretty lights through the purple haze. May the alternating colors give you hours of amusement.

I think its time to take it down. If you have kids, it'll be walking out the door by itself in a few weeks. I found lollipops and some breakfast cereal in mine.

Keep it up until Easter. It might remind you not to spend as much this year on ungrateful relatives.

I'm lazy, and our tree still sits in the living room as I write this. Almost put it to the curb last night but it was too cold out.
