I was there in the ninties, only at gare du nord or something, walked out and it was beautifull.
Today its hmmm, beautifull i think, timeless, one of the great cities.
If Hollande isnt too stupid he will keep the capital, inner city^^ as it was. the banlieus are getting more and more dangerous territory. Same problem all over europe!

Photos of Paris 1950 much different then my vacation to Paris. The people in particular and less modernization things were simpler then.
