I live on 59 deg latitude, e.i way up higher on the globe (quebec is about 47)
Here we have 9° C (48° F) and no snow at all. No snow for weeks and weeks.
Unusually warm here..

Last couple of years on the same date as we live today Holland was covered in snow for months with temp going down to -20 degrees.

This year it's +16 degrees, people are walking in t-shirts. It's almost spring like..

It was 65 F in N CA yesterday for a high. Something seems pretty messed up.

Health unit in my area has issued a warning for all people to stay indoors today! Unheard of in my area!!!! Take care fellow SW Ontarians!

The "Polar Vortex" is simply the Jet stream, nothing special at all.

It's like spring in Germany. I love it but it's not like the last years. But i don't have data from the last 10000 years so i can not tell you if this is "unusual".
