do they even make them anymore, last time I seen legit chatrooms was on AOL 1.0 to 2.0

that chat rooms they have now are nothing compared to how they used to be

the aol chat rooms were amazing. they had normal and interesting intelligent people there

if you search on google you can find some free chat rooms.

but alot of them are having stalkers and criminal and mentally unstable people there mixed in with normal chatters

yea but see now im in trouble. some guy has been following me to chat rooms and cyber stalking me. hes not mentally stable and hes very delusional with no boundaries. he says he wants to get even at me and is angry at me. even tho he dosnt know me from real life. but he sent me a virus and hacked alot of personal info about me so he has my name and phone number and all the other personal details.he believes that he and i used to be in a long term relationship even tho i never met the guy.so he has no concept of whats real

he has a friend he said who is a computer genius and know everything on how to trace computers and key log and all that stuff and how to bypass antivirus software thats installed. so hes been able to get past my computer antovirus and even hide his own ip very well

he is threatening me recently so i have to talk to police again but they will say im stupid for going back to chat rooms when they told me dont speak to strangers on the net

because the stalker guy thinks i go to chat rooms just to talk to him even tho im not there to speak to him

That's why you should use forums instead of chat rooms, and only get personal with someone after a long while of knowing them.

i didnt get personal with the person. i didnt tell them my real name or location or any identifying info on me

but he went out of his way to hack into my computer and find my real first and last name, he hacked into my facebook account that has only a few people on it such as family members and people i went to kindergarted with.

then he went to some us search thing and he dug up all the info available on me. i dont know to what extent he went to get info but he was saying -personal stuff to me that no stranger on the net would be able to know

then he recently this week tells me he is going to kill me and destroy my family because i wouldnt marry him.

why on earth would i marry some random person who is online who i never met. he goes under fake indentities to trick me while knowing which screen name i am, in order to talk to me and then he says its him.

so the guy could be psychopathic and possibly dangerous/violent. i dont know his history since he never gave me his real name or photo

because hes convinced that i used to date him and that i ruined his entire life by not marying him so he tells me the only way he will ever be happy is if he gets someone to kill me. because hes obsessed over me. he crossed many boundaries
and he thinks he has a vendetta against me, i dont know why me. he tells me because he blocked his ip adress very well and is a professional computer expert that he says he is above the law. its some lunatic

Oh I loved the AOL 1.0 Chat rooms, talk about fun punting an entire room with in seconds with zero security..that is I seen people do that..never have I done that...

chatrooms became flooded with shills and tards right around 2003 or so. Maybe sooner but I hadn't noticed.

You really just couldn't have any actual chat with anyone from that point forward.
