You know as far as crime goes the same could be said for any country.
We all have crime and people who scam via any means they can.
However, I have always wanted to visit Romania.
From the culture, the history, scenery, and the very hot men; Romania has always fascinated me.
If I ever get the money to go I will.

My mother was born in Romania. Her parents were fleeing the Bolshevik death squads operating in Russia at the time.

My parents are from Romania, but I'm very grateful my mom had the balls to apply for a chance to immigrate to the US after Nixon's visit to Romania in the late 60's (I think). I am so grateful to have been born here, but I do appreciate my Romanian heritage and it was my first language. That being said, Romanians get such a bad rap by the few bad seeds whose crimes make international news. Gypsies are not Romanian and most natural born white Romanians hate them and are very racist toward them. My mom has been in the US for over 40 years and is still very prejudiced toward gypsies.

Those Romanian women don't look any different from your regular American models. There are beautiful white people almost everywhere.

the thing i like about romania is what are called TROVANTS.
they are stones that reproduce themselves, they have babies when they get wet.
