Healing happens! In the late nineties I had pneumonia. It was awful. My body recovered but a few weeks later I was at a friends house and her young son woke up with a horrible cough. I knew how painful it was and just touched his back in empathy. His parents were taking him to doctor the next morning. She got him back to sleep and I didn't see this friend for like two weeks. When I called her, she told me what happened. When I touched her boy, a jolt of energy went right through him and jolted her. She was too shocked to say anything. The next morning he woke up healthy! I bawled like a baby when she told me this. Did I heal him? No, probably not. But I was used as a medium of healing. Very humbling experience. I have tears in my eyes now just remembering.

Mary did in fact die (known as the Dormition) but Jesus afforded his mother the honor of being assumed body and soul into Heaven where she was crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth (Enoch and Elijah are also alive but not in Heaven and will return to Earth to combat the Antichrist). It is true that there is only one Mediator between God and Man - Christ - but the Mother of God is the quickest pathway to the Mediator and God has no time for those who marginalize and ridicule His Mother.

The reason you ask Mary is because, as mentioned above, Jesus will not refuse what Mary asks of him. However, if you ask him, he may choose to refuse. Great story of hope for all.

Deep theology. Mary is the created Immaculate Conception. She was created sinless, like Eve in the garden, a new Eve. The Holy Spirit is the uncreated Immaculate Conception. Our biological ancestral mother Eve was unworthy, so God has provided a universal and sinless spiritual mother for each of us. Any one who has a spiritual Father, would logically also have a spiritual Mother.

Jesus is the uncreated manifestation of the Father. Mary is the created manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Mary is God's masterpeice of creation, the perfect and reproducible model of perfection in creation. She is higher than all the saints and all the angels. If She lives in you, you will become interiorly like Her. She can be born again in the spirit in the soul of any person who desires Her interior presence. The kingdom of God is within you, if you want the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and Mary to live in you.

The first miracle of Jesus was inside the womb of Mary when John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit in the womb of Elizabeth.

The first public miracle of Jesus was at the wedding in Cana at the request of Mary. Meaning Jesus performs miracles, and gives graces, because of the irresistable prayers of Mary. She always prays according to the divine will.

Jesus lived for the first thirty years of His life with Mary. According to judaic law, Jesus would have been required to live in submission to Mary as His mother. If Jesus lived the greatest part of His life in submission to Mary, why not us? Are we not to follow in His footsteps?

From the cross, Jesus entrusted his beloved disciple, John, to Mary, saying to him, Behold your Mother. John was the only apostle with the courage to follow Jesus to His death on the cross, or the only one who loved Jesus enough to overcome his fears. Those closest to Jesus in these times will be like John and live with Mary.

Mary was present and praying with the apostles at the time of the descent Her spouse, the part of the Godhead whom She personifies, the Holy Spirit.
