Is it a reference I'm missing/inside joke or do you mean the literal definition? It's a reference to my belief that the truth is always simple .. I get this belief from many examples in the Bible Jesus is one of them ..... Just a man of simple birth ....born in a manger .... Born to common folk the Ten Commandments ..... 10 simple commandments that's easy to comprehend John the Baptist .... Just a wilderness" hillbilly" from the desert yet he had the true knowledge of the coming of The Lord ....the Pharisees were trained in scripture and prophecy and were looking for the coming Messiah yet they completely missed him ...the "hillbilly " John the Baptist knew the truth Elijah the Prophet was a simple wilderness man yet he was the mouthpiece of God David was the youngest and smallest of his brothers and his father didn't even bring him before Samuel to anoint as king yet he was the man that God choose I could go on and on I've just noticed a pattern in the. Bible that god picks the man that you would lest expect to deliver his message |

Maybe I'm missing something here, perhaps the "lunatic" fringe angle or something else all together. Now I'm genuinely curious. |

Maybe I'm missing something here, perhaps the "lunatic" fringe angle or something else all together. Now I'm genuinely curious. I'm a rebellious child of God just like in the Old Testament the Hebrew Children were the Chosen people of God ....... I was born into the "Message " of this hour into the chosen people of God ....Hebrew children born into Hebrew families didn't choose to be born into Hebrew families didn't choose that they would be born into the select group of "Gods chosen people...the Hebrews .....neither did I choose to be born into "Gods chosen people" of the Gentiles I didn't choose to be born into this "Truth" .... I was born into it by Gods foreknowledge, Predestitanation and Election It's been very difficult for me in a way but in another way I'm extremely blessed to know the " Truth" .... But like Samson I have many times chosen the way of the rebellious man and I have I paid dearly for my choices Yet in the end Samson turned back to the one true God and was redeemed "in a sense " by God giving him back his strength that was lost by his own choices to go after "pleasures of the flesh" I too have gone after the pleasures of the flesh .... I am a man that struggles with his fleshly desires and enjoyed the things that temporarily ....and I mean "temporarily " pleasure the desires of the flesh ....that includes ....women , intoxicants and music .....yet in the end they lead to death ....and the true definition of death is eternal separation from God our creator Yet I believe in the end I will come under subjection to the will of God ....tho I pay dearly for my transgression ..... I will still eventually come under His subjection for I am predestinated to a higher calling doubting Thomas was a doubter of the truth ....yet in the end he was a disciple of God In the end ...so am I Last Edited by Simple_Man on 12/24/2013 06:12 PM |

I will still eventually come under His subjection for I am predestinated to a higher calling doubting Thomas was a doubter of the truth ....yet in the end he was a disciple of God In the end ...so am I I think I get it now. Here's a few tidbits for you... -1 Timothy 5:23 "No longer drink water exclusively, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments." -1 Samuel 16:16 "Let our lord now command your servants who are before you. Let them seek a man who is a skillful player on the harp; and it shall come about when the evil spirit from God is on you, that he shall play the harp with his hand, and you will be well." -1 Corinthians 7:9 "But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion." So enjoy your vodka [in moderation] and Weezer. |
