What do you think would happen if we started the White Television Network or we renamed the US Chamber of Commerce the National White Chamber of Commerce or if the Miss USA Pageant became the Miss White USA Pageant? You know, and I know, that all hell would break loose. Every (leftist) activist organization in the country would be in an uprising and suing for such things but as a white Christian, you better not say anything. Political Correctness really only applies to the white, Christian, heterosexual people of our country today. Everyone else is protected by the 1st Amendment. We’re sorry, but to put it bluntly, that is just screwed up! That’s as racist as you are ever going to get. Just because you may choose a lifestyle that I disagree with does not mean I hate you...what it means simply is that you need to keep your druthers to yourself and let me keep my druthers to myself. I am not God (though I am of Him and part of Him, as are you), and I don't set myself up as judge to your personal belief systems. Not my place. But I expect to be able to live my life as I see fit without persecution for my beliefs, as well. All of that being said, I think this whole firing a guy for speaking his mind thing is absolutely ridiculous and that it spits in the face of what this nation is supposed to stand for. I don't agree with this man, he doesn't agree with me, but if I expect the right to say my piece legally and without repercussions (either criminal or financial, such as finding myself out of the job because my views aren't mainstream enough to be tolerated) the I also expect that he should have the exact same right. That is what freedom of speech and freedom of the press are supposed to be about. We are supposed to be able to disagree - publicly disagree - and not be punished for our words or opinions. This censorship bullshit is scary as hell, regardless of whether you call yourself liberal or conservative. If you are an American citizen, you should have an expectation of being able to have your own opinion about social issues and to be able to legally scream it at the top of your lungs with impunity, regardless of how unpopular it is. I am sure I offend people on a daily basis. Every now and then someone offends me. And that's good. That's how it's supposed to be. We are not all supposed to be the same. We are supposed to be able to think for ourselves and have our own opinions and to use our own minds to discern for ourselves right and wrong. They are trying to turn us into a hive, where it's all white noise and where nobody questions anything and everyone behaves like a good little drone. It's terrifying and I don't want any part of it. People need to wake up. This country was built on the backs and from the blood of big mouthed, unpopular dissidents who weren't afraid to speak their minds and bring about change. We're being swallowed up into a world of sameness, of conformity. 1984 is alive and well and going on in our living rooms. End of rant. |

Its our individual choices that reveal what we are about inside. What they seek doesnt exist. Evil will never be equal to good. They want to be rewarded for their deviant choices, no matter what they are doing. You reap what you sow in this life whether you like it or not, or believe in God or not. Im not offended by the presence of moronic or evil behavior. Its just the world i was born into. DOnt expect me to affirm your behavior as good, or righteous. Sorry it isnt gonna happen, im not in the habit of lying or denying the truth. Enjoy your choices and quit worrying about what i think? If you dont like the way your being treated feel free to move to a more enlightened part of the world? So you think I should move to a "more enlightened part of the world" because I want the right to my opinion? I don't force my beliefs or opinions on anyone other than a few friends who ask for it! It has nothing to do with enlightened parts of the world, it has to do with my God given right to my liberty. No question there soldier. I am referring to the vermin who think because i disagree with them that i am against them? I love my all fellow countrymen. I dont like some of the things they do, doesnt mean i have to affirm they are right or the same as me? We were all created equal but their isnt one of us that is the same. Its never a crime to disagree, and thats whats wrong with the leadership in this country. They want to punish those who disagree, or demonize them, or have them audited by the IRS. And way too much nosy shit going on as well with the intrusions into our homes and living rooms with this NSA shit! Are ya that bored that you gotta watch me everywhere and know what im thinking every minute of every day. Its none of your fucking business. Get a life i say, i already have mine and would love to be left alone to enjoy it. That's just the tip of the iceberg with this administration, but I couldn't agree with you more. I hate to be cliche, but it still boils down to the Golden Rule. So simple! CHeers! Fundamental, it is the path to prosperity for those who embrace it. We are currently not on the path to prosperity as im sure you have noticed. God bless all of you. Come And Take It! |

Black vs White Gay vs straight Republican vs Democrat Conservative vs science Hate vs logic All of these things are a trap, meant to keep us on the road to a worse world. If we want something better, we're each going to have to try and fix ourselves first. It will take time, and not be easy, but we can start by looking at things without bias. Trying not to hate anyone (even if we feel like we have some good reasons too) and by making an effort to solve problems, rather than just comment on them. |

User ID: 40765247 United States 12/20/2013 01:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll certainly bite on this thread, because I believe we probably have totally divergent viewpoints. Quoting: Em18966 I am a vocal supporter of LGBT rights, agnostic and pretty liberal in my beliefs. Yup! |
