Anonymous Coward User ID: 50208567 Canada 12/17/2013 07:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | but am I correct that me sending him that email would be a problem. it bothers me but I don't know WHY it bothers me. Quoting: digitalmonkey You know, it depends on what he did(does) that got him fired. One needs to know the severity of the deed in order to help you find your footing. ie: did he get caught stealing or drugs? Or maybe just a clash of personalities or insubordination ? What? |

Quoting: digitalmonkey Oh, a car lot. |

I think he was lying but I have no proof. that was a big stink as well. he swore it was legitimate. I would have asked for the receipt. I think I'll ignore the request until he asks again. and then.... I awoke to hear john 3:16 in a loud voice. Quoting: digitalmonkey Yes. You would be using company email to disclose a private company message to a person who has just been removed from seeing company info. It would be wrong...and if you did it...I'd fire your ass! ^This. That email is company property. |

Quoting: digitalmonkey OP.... Sorry....but that is what he was being paid to do. If he wasn't doing what they needed done(and it seems reasonable)....BUH BYE. Just tell the fired co-worker you can't since the company expressly said in this case, this email is confidential and not to be disbursed outside the company. I wouldn't have so much loyalty to this co-worker OP. Sending him a copy of the e-mail could drag you down with him. He was not exactly a model employee. Stay clear. If he was such a great "work husband," he'll understand. P.S. Why did you choose someone like that who's been in so much trouble with the company as your work hubby? Slim pickins' around there or what? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 49531429 United States 12/17/2013 08:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tell him you perma-deleted it from your inbox and the most you can do is tell him what it said.... I'm assuming the email was simply notification of him no longer being with the company - so him reading it will really serve no functional purpose. If he gives you a hard time over this (not sending him the email) then he's not really the type of person you want to maintain an association with. |
