WTF? NY man threatened with ticket for washing his car in his own driveway

What kind of stupid bullshit is this?

A man in Garden City NY was preparing to wash his car in his own driveway when apparently his neighbor called the cops on him!!

First of all, why is this an issue?

Secondly, who calls the cops on someone who is washing their car on their own property??

I suppose I would understand if the guy had a boom box blaring while he washed his car, but he did not.

Next thing you know, people will be calling the cops on neighbors who are mowing their lawns or having a family picnic.
