it says he did another book "Dogs and Demons" which sounds quite interesting as well. thanks for the reference AC I just might pick up a copy for some downtime reading

here's something odd to include in the thread

Nakamura Jakuemon IV was a Japanese actor most known for onnagata performance.

onnagata being male actors who impersonate women

I cannot think how that would work in the west. is that truly such a cherished role in Japanese culture?

I'd find it truly amazing to live a dual-life side-by-side. or perhaps watch 2 individuals from an outside perspective

one spirit born in America

the other spirit born in Japan

same time, same year of birth. watch how it all unfolds... crazy shit comparing the tiniest minute details of these seemingly(but not so) distant societies
