He did not die at an earlier date. He suffered a stroke a few years back and pretty much went off radar at that point. Not to worry, I'm sure that some other preacher will take up the "judgement day" mantle.

Used to be hilarious listening to the prank calls into his radio show- the guy was the typical moron christard, totally uneducated save for the fictional "bible". he wouldnt get that he was being pranked until his staff would cut off the calls..
