well, the fact that the cloud cover here in ny was pretty thick last night that may also be why.

Saw two bright white ones falling one after the other last night, first thought they were flares but moving way too fast, awesome!!

I saw a really good one last night. I looked up just as I was stepping out the door and there it was. Unfortunately it clouded over later so I didn't go out meteor watching.

It was cloudy here too but both of the ones I saw fell below the cloud level... They must have come down somewhere??

Got to be worth looking tonight after dark!!

lol, work? on the weekends? :( crappity crap crap. i work in a bakery part time so i know all about it, the week leading up to christmas will be a 60 hour week, it gets super busy there.

where are you located roughly that its not snowing yet? it was predicted to start around 11am here, (hour north of nyc roughly) but i woke up at 6:30 this morning and it was already snowing, about half an inch already on the ground, and it's still snowing not expected to change over to freezing rain until roughly 1am.

Most meteor showers that we experience from time to time are a result of small particles hitting our upper atmosphere producing a pretty light show...

These objects coming through now are much larger and therefore much more concerning!!

There have already been reports of several meteors crashing into the sea off the coast of Greece!

I was looking up at the sky at 0600 this morning for 10 mins here in NW France and saw jack, however, my OH did see one.
