Anybody else fall this week?

My kid stabbed himself in the neck with scissors yesterday, that was the closest I've gotten to scary this week.

NO AND I DON'T WANT TO.

My brother got dizzy and fell down the stairs- ended up in the hospital..

Eeek! How old is he?

Sorry to hear that...one of my friend also landed up having
to go to the hosital to have his leg stitched....

5 and the teacher didn't even notice because she didn't send a note home about it. It had a little blood scab on it but not dripping down, just balled up a little on his neck. It looked like it was pretty close to a vein.

Why is the teacher letting such a young child play with
scissors????

I'm so old and senile I can't remember.

They were probably doing a project, so much for the safety scissor feature.

Last time I fell hard was on ice last winter not this winter.

Banged up my elbow pretty bad.

Wrapped it in duck tape with toilet paper and picked myself back up and regrouped. I healed just fine.

This year I have learned a lot about last years winter. I am going to take it very seriously when moving around. I do not want to fall again like that. That what learning is for.

I also fell last year. I was going down a steep hill in the woods with my dogs. The trail was a sheet of ice. I made it to the bottom without falling. When I was congratulating myself for not falling, I slipped and fell down.

Just thought it very strange that so many of us had
falls this week and none of us are prone to this kind
of thing...maybe some weird gravity related glitch...

No, but someone is beating me up at night. I've got bruises when I wake up.

No, I find myself stepping a bit more cautiously than I used to...hell, I used to jump off my parents garage roof...

I do yoga and judo so my balance is pretty good...
must admit my jumping off the roof days are also over as well.

Age brings caution.
