the 'miniature' world of Michael Paul Smith

I was sent a link to this man's work and thought it was worth sharing.

Using a $200 camera & lots of creative angling, he's been producing amazing life-like photos c. 1950's using model cars & other hand crafted 'accessories'.

I'm not much into photography, but this stuff is pretty cool. Plus, he obviously has a real knack for it.

The town of Elgin Park isn't located in a state, it is a state of mind within the town's creator and photographer Michael Paul Smith who has faithfully recreated the mid-century America of his youth using super accurate model cars and landscape and with the help of a little camera magic.
