I am so attracted to Iceland, those sod homes I swear I must have had past lifetimes there..even came up in a few dreams.

Austria though, buh, I would live there and make chocolate all day.

Austria is independent by the way..never in the news except for the sick sob who kept a woman making babies in his basement for 20 years.

Lol you're posting a thread about 15 most peaceful countries in the world on a forum that is 90% visited by Americans and who most hope for DOOM every single day.

So I'm not surprised you're not getting any replies lol.

If I had the money I would move somewhere in Europe, just for the history, culture, the people. Canada is pretty boring at times although I live in the biggest city in Canada so I can't speak for all Canadians.

What do these countries have in common?

these are the countries that are not diversified enough. give it a few more years and this problem will be taken care of.

Africa is rich in diverse cultures that need a new home. Sponsor Africans in your nation or be called racist.

Raised as I was in the melting pot of NYC, having about 8 different representative families of every race and creed on both sides of the peaceful street on which I skipped and played without rancor or incident (except inside my own french catholic home in which I was hostage), guess I am inclined to adapt.

Peaceful is a term. Whatever rings your chimes. These are simply words to point to an exit sign out of what to me has become unlivable.

Seriously? For all the domestic frakking going on & rigs sucking land & sea...why then would real unemployment #s be around 20%.

The u.s. once had a manufacturing base of it's own as do many countries still.
Just one example, in just 5 years 5,000 mills from the u.s. southeast up to illinois were shut down.
