You know what guys, I think artists renditions would be better! If it was clear, I could do mine from real-time, but will have to go off memory.

Venus was white and solid. The object I was mesmerized by was:

Red/orange, same/slightly smaller size, sparkly, and to Venus' 4 o' clock.

This was in Texas, in the July-September sky, looking down to the southern sky, at dusk, just above the treeline.
