Yeah, I've been seeing it as well all Fall.
I think there are many threads on it, but there is a lot of noise from opinions in them.

I have went out on several occasions to look for this south/southwest object in the other threads to no avail. This was around 70 degrees in the sky and the sun had not fully set yet and I watch Venus over a tree in the backyard when the sky is clear and this was well south of that. Yes, Venus was north west of this. How high up would you say Venus was in comparison? I was quite surprised by this as I couldn't locate what it was on Google Sky, which is usually pretty reliable, lol. I noticed it AFTER sunset and it stayed up in the sky for a while after that. It's not far above the horizon so I couldn't follow it's progress all the way home - too many trees and buildings. I'm glad other people are seeing this and I just wonder what it is....
