San Diego here, no metallic weird taste like we had back in 2011.

Seems to be North of me where they are getting pretty high readings. If it still looks like this tomorrow, I'll pull out my ludlum. I don't have a pocket one besides the nuke alert.

Ugh read the site, people... It says Active when the area in question had its radiation levels elevated at the highest point In the last year. It could literally mean anything

1,300 radioactive isotopes are coming from Fukushima according to youtuber BeautifulGirlByDana. I can't prove anything he says so don't ask me. But, here's the ultimate doom:

We don't know what all of the isotypes are and even with the ones we know of, it's very difficult to detect most of them. So, most geiger counters are useless and background radiation is only a tiny part of the picture.

But, because many of these isotypes are unknown to the public, we'll never be able to plan for them or protect ourselves from them.

I saw a poster even claiming that new isotypes are being CREATED in the ocean when the radioactive isotypes mix with ocean water. Does anyone know if that's possible?

Something else I've been thinking about:

2 Radcon 5 Alerts

October 31st, 2013 was the last time I remember seeing a Radcon 5 Alert. It was in the Minnesota area.

Appx 28 days (4 week) interval. I wonder if this is a pattern?

Has any happened before this one since the last one I just mentioned above?

Oh shit, please tell me that site isn't accurate. San Jose at 680? What's going on?

Levels from Tokyo up to Minami-Soma are stable and very low
for a triple Melt-Down.

Increased radiation in the mountains always hints to a possible fallout cloud or radiation from space. Mountains have a tendency to get the worst of it.

Explain why their alert system should not be trusted? If three monitoring stations near each other, Fresno, San Jose, and San Fran, are all radcon 4 and 5, should I not be concerned?

What concerns me is that all of the stations on netc in this region are reporting high readings, not just one. I can see if it were just one that it might be a fluke, but all of them?

I didn't wrote "not to be trusted"
(afaik the majority of their Stations is from the Government [EpA]
and their massive Air-Filter)

Seems like specific conditions have to be met before they issue radcon 5 alert.

We have our own in-official System (NGO) here
and when we observe only one single Station in a
upward Spiral we do nothing,
when the Point of Measurement is inside of Daiichi
we get a bit concerned but also only when the Level
go up for a few Hours!

There are Patterns in environmental Data,
when we can't observe this Pattern a wrong/ dead/ Ding Dong Instrument
is a high possibility
