I posted this same thread a few days ago, and when I realized it couldn't be confirmed with any other source, I asked a mod to delete it. There is no information as far as the location where it happened. If this story were legit, there would be a heck of a lot more press than just a martial arts website and the awfbase link. People might post it on their blogs and other forums have it too, but all of these places posting this are linking two the same links mentioned. Oh, it'd be badass if this story were true, but it seems that is simply is not.

Miss Beulah is most likely black herself.

She has -- and deserves the right to retain -- the very same access to the tools she needs to protect herself as do I and everyone else.

In fact it makes a lot more sense for a 60 year old woman to carry a handgun daily than it does for a big, healthy 25 year old man to carry one.

Currently these Knockout Attacks (I refuse to call them 'games') are conducted by young black male assailants.

They target individuals who are typically viewed as vulnerable due to age, gender, size, and disability.

If Miss Beulah lives in an area with a lot of young black males hanging around (as compared to working or doing other worthwhile activity), it makes absolutely good sense for her to arm herself.

Little old ladies should arm ourselves, elderly gentlemen should arm themselves! People of small stature or who are physically disabled should arm themselves!

Nowadays, just about anyone who is going about his rightful business has damned good reason to arm himself.
