Agreed. There is something disturbing about the reaction we are seeing from people fantasizing cruel punishments for a guy they have no proof has done anything wrong.

It is so easy to whip people up into a mob mentality, imagine being the target of something like this and trying to convince people you were innocent.

There's not even a description of the kid or any indication of what the 'perp' is supposed to have done and people are saying slow bleed him and torture him.

For all you or I know the guy they're hunting isn't a pedo at all. Given the nature of this 'operation' and the fact that there are undoubtedly hundreds of similar cases, I simply don't buy it.

If you were called to jury duty would you convict on the evidence you have heard and seen in this case? What if it were you on trial, would you want te jury to?
